Adopt don’t shop! Take a look at the humane society, or local rescues if you are looking for a new dog. There are so many wonderful ones that are in need of a home! 🐶💙

It’s Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day!
Help us extend our appreciation to our two wonderful veterinary receptionists (one of whom is also our manager) Ashley and Margaret! They are the first people who greet you and your pet when you arrive at the clinic, and the last people who see you when you leave. They answer the phones, book appointments, reply to emails, and answer your questions, and so much more. We couldn’t do without them! They are wonderful! So thank you Ashley and Margaret for all that you do!

World Su***de Prevention Day

Today we acknowledge the importance of mental health not only in the world, but specifically the veterinary profession. Veterinary medicine, though very rewarding, also comes with unique challenges that can affect ones mental health and emotional wellbeing.
At McLean Animal Hospital, we stand with our colleagues, clients, and community in breaking the stigma around mental health. If you find yourself struggling in any way, know that you are not alone. There are many ways to reach out for support and help. You are worth it.
📞 Canada Su***de Prevention Service: 9-8-8 available 24/7.
Together we can create a culture of compassion, understanding, and hope for all. ❤️
