๐๐พ Sometimes training happens in the most unexpected moments. ๐โ๐ฆบโจ
๐ฅ A simple question turned into a great opportunity to demonstrate an important part of service dog training: boundaries, communication, and impulse control.๐ฅ
๐โ๐ฆบ Someone asked if Mason could have a french fry, and the answer was yes โ but only when he was released to take it.๐โ๐ฆบ
๐ง Training does not mean a dog never gets to enjoy treats or have fun. It means the dog understands the difference between a reward, a distraction, and a handlerโs direction.๐ง
๐ Mason was asked to โleave itโ while the fries were placed on his paw, and even with multiple people involved, he waited for permission before taking them.๐
๐ค Public manners are built through clear communication and consistent expectations. A reliable working partner understands that not every opportunity means it is time to act.๐ค
โจ The goal is not to remove a dogโs personality or enjoyment. The goal is building a partnership where the dog can confidently navigate the world while trusting their handlerโs guidance.โจ
