Care Partner Kayla & Tucker have built a pretty special bond — some might even call them besties! 👯‍♀️

Their regular visits start with big dawg snuggles, followed by a leisurely stroll, and always end with snack time. 🍌🥕 And the love goes both ways — Tucker’s mom often sends Kayla home with some yummy goodies, too! 😋

It’s relationships like these that make what we do so special. 🐾 We’re passionate about building meaningful connections not only with your pets, but with the humans who love them, too. Because when your pets become part of our family, so do you! 🤍

Meet our handsome new friend, Mochi! 😍

At just 6 months old, this boy is well on his way with training and learning how to walk like a proper gentleman. His icy blue eyes and beautiful coat are sure to steal your heart. 🩵🩵

Care partners Danea & Rebecca have been lucky enough to snag a few dates with Mochi this week while his mom is away. They ensure he gets lots of exercise and sniffing enrichment on his walks, and can let out that playful puppy energy! 🤪

This one’s for the kitties! 🐱

Whether yours is sweet or a little spicy 🌶️ we have drop-ins that are fully customizable to your cat’s needs and social preferences.

We’ll make sure they are fed & watered, scoop their litter, and stimulate them with a little playtime if they allow it. Options available from 15 minutes to over an hour, depending on your cat’s sociability so they can feel loved and cared for while you are away. 🐾

Nova’s pawrents travel regularly for work so Care Partner Danea has had the pleasure of caring for her multiple times this year. She loves to start the morning with a good snuggle followed by a long walk near the river. If you’re lucky, she’ll treat you to her famous poo zoomies or have a goofy game of tug in the park. Nova is very ritualistic with her chewys and will perform an interpretive dance before munching. She always loves when Danea comes to stay, and her mom & dad can focus on work, knowing she is happy & safe while they are away. They love to see her adventures each day and the photos bring comfort when they are missing their girl.
Staying with your pet allows them to keep to their routine and comfortable environment to minimize the stress of you being gone. It also creates a special bond between them and their care partner, and we get to discover each of their unique quirks that sometimes take longer to surface. We love being able to care for your pet and keep you in the loop so you never have to worry.

Lily has been one of our weekly lunchtime walk clients for over three years!

Her 30-minute visits include mandatory belly rubs for entry, followed by the careful trading of treats in exchange for permission to slip on her harness. Then we’re off for lots of sniffs and plenty of suspicious looks for other pups because, obviously, Lily is the queen of her block 👸🏼

Once home, Lily gets a scoop of food, her water topped up, and plenty of pats and kisses goodbye.

Sometimes… and only if you’re really lucky… Lily will decide it’s time for a spectacular game of YOU CAN’T CATCH ME around the yard 💨😂

Our care visits are completely customizable to what each client and pet needs. From walks and meals to medications, enrichment, cuddles, backyard games and everything in between, no two visits look exactly the same.

That unique and ever-changing nature of pet care is one of our Care Partners’ favourite parts of the job 💜🐾

We are officially in love with a boy named Henry 😍

Henry’s mom came to Rachael’s Rovers looking for a little extra support with her sweet new pup — potty breaks, play time, and gentle crate training as he settles into his world

One of the most special parts of this work is how personalized each visit becomes. We get to grow alongside our clients, learning their routines, their needs, and all the tiny quirks that make them who they are

Getting to know these little personalities is truly the best part - excited to keep growing along side Henry ❣️
