I am very pleased to say that we raised $750.00 from our afghan raffle! It was sent to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan to be used for cancer research. The money will remain in Saskatchewan. Thank you everyone that bought tickets to support this worthy cause.

Now that I've had some sleep I'll correct the errors I made in my last post about the trial! The winner of the lovely basket donated by Pawsitive Dog Sport for the Best Elite Weavers run was Wendi and Drift. Presented in memory of Liane's Wynn. The Top Dog winner in Elite was Karen & Hank, Open was Kim & Roscoe, Novice was Shari & Luna and Intro was Brynn & Halsey - Congratulations!
The winners of the fastest tunnelers run in Elite was Drift, Open was Twist, Novice was Ava and Intro was Halsey, it was a fun fast course.
The weather man wasn't kind to our trials this year. We had planned on awarding the Challenge Award to the top dog's combined scores from May and September, that didn't work. We then planned on using the top three day combined scores but that didn't work either. So the final decision was the dog with the most qualifying runs regardless of their level. The winner of the Challenge Award for 2026 is Kim and Roscoe!! Congratulations!
Hope to see you all next year!!

Another milestone has come and gone! I hope everyone had great runs and as much fun as I had. So many thank yous so here goes. Thank you Dave Tharle for fun courses, great stories and lovely flowers (thank you Barb). Thank you Liane for manning the course and Jody and Randy for assisting her. I never worry about that job. Thank you everyone that pitched in to help them move equipment. Thank you Donella for all of your hard work before, during and after the trial. I threw a lot at you this year and you handled it all beautifully. Thank you Pawsitive Dog Sports for the donation of a huge basket that we chose to reward to the Top Weaving Dog in memory of Liane's Wynn and appropriately Dave and Elvis won it. Thank you Ellen for all of the delicious baking, everyone enjoyed it immensely. Thank you Deb for the donation of the two lovely afghans, we drew the winners today and the first winner is Nala K. and second place is Lynn A., we'll get those to you soon. And a huge thank you to everyone that bought tickets; we raised $650.00 to donate to cancer research. Thank you to those that came to work even though they weren't running a dog, maybe next year! And last but certainly not least thank you to all of the competitors that entered and helped the trial run by volunteering, we can't do it without you.

These are the actual wonderful afghans that Deb made. The brown one has paw prints in heart shapes and the other one has a lovely pattern. They are so cozy, she made me two and I use them every evening! If you can't make it to the trial but would still like to buy tickets let us know. You can e-transfer to [email protected]
