Uno Yxklinten is a highly respected, Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) award winning farrier and researcher from Sweden with a specialist focus on equine foot mechanics and applied biomechanics. His work intersects practical farriery with academic research, and he has conducted numerous investigations studying how forces act within the equine foot, and the impact trimming and shoeing has.
Uno's PhD research is strongly driven by creating practical and usable insights from complex mechanical principles for other farrier professionals. His focus is to improve technical understanding, decision making, and equine welfare by providing accurate, and accessible information to the horse world.
This seminar is open to all horse people, including farriers and veterinarians.
