Meet the Clinic Cats,

Introducing Mordi, our most mischievous little rascal. As a kitten, Mordi came into the clinic having been abandoned with 2 broken legs. With the help of Dr. Nelson, Mordi has made a full recovery, and loves to show off by perching on the highest structures, supervising the entire treatment room.🐾

If you see this pickpocket coming, hide your valuables! He’s known for his thievery and trickery around the clinic, and loves a good game of hide and seek. He may even sn**ch the odd piece of jewelry, hoarding it in his lair (the cat room).💎👑

Fun Fact: Due to his past injury, Mordi has one leg that is longer than the other. You can catch him hitting a sassy dancer pose with his longer leg extended.

Introducing Ravyn, the most recent addition to our LHAH family. In her past life, Ravyn was a wild barn cat. Rather than ruling the rooster coop, Ravyn is now the queen of the cat posse of the clinic. Ravyn is the black sheep of the bunch. This diva is an independent girl and loves her freedom. Good luck scooping her up for some cuddles…🐾

Although not the biggest fan of affection, Ravyn has taken quite a liking to her quirky counterpart, Halo. He is the yin to her yang. You can find them snuggling in their shared cat bed after partaking in the zoomies.

Fun Fact: Ravyn was brought in with a broken leg. After Dr. Nelson repaired her broken wheel, she flaunts her stuff through the halls and performs her ninja moves bouncing off the walls. 🤸‍♀️

Meet the Clinic Cats,

Introducing Titan, a fan favourite amongst the clients. Once a rugged tom cat braving the streets, Titan was rescued and claimed by Dr. Nelson. Now, he doesn’t have to search far for his next meal. In fact, he loves to climb into the cupboards and secretly raid the treat bags. Safe to say this guy has happily adapted to his lazy life as a clinic cat. Titan loves to sleep, eat and repeat. Don’t be fooled by his big lazy stature, he is quite agile and will climb his way into spaces that don't fit him or seem too high to snag an extra feeding for the day. 🐱🍗

Titan and Mordi are a package deal and long lost brothers of the cat world. You can find them duking it out over their favourite cat bed one minute, then (un)comfortably sharing it together the next moment. 👯‍♀️

Fun Fact: Titan never learned how to meow. Instead, he squeaks like a mouse. 🐭

Meet the LHAH Team,

This week we're introducing Sara, one of our most vibrant and considerate veterinary assistants!

Sara started at LHAH last August after finishing her degree in Animal Bioscience from the U of S. Throughout the year Sara has thrived in all aspects of her role, from communicating effectively with clients and maintaining an organized clinic to providing compassionate, attentive care to every patient she encounters. 🐶📋

Sara's favorite part of her role is building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, seeing them regularly, and witnessing their progress and recovery firsthand. She also enjoys the everyday moments that make the job rewarding, such as getting to know and see everyone's furry friends and brightening their visits with treats. This fall Sara will start her journey towards becoming a veterinarian, as she got accepted into the DVM program at the WCVM! She is excited to start and looks forward to gaining knowledge she can use at LHAH. 🩺💕

In her spare time, Sara enjoys taking her dogs for walks, especially in the summer when they can stop by the local ice cream shop and share a sweet treat together. She also enjoys getting to listen to the latest pop music releases and travel to new places whenever she can. Lastly, you can always find her reading a good (or bad) book especially if there is a fun plot twist involved. 📚🗺️

Meet the LHAH Team,

She has developed exceptional clinical skills and enjoys diagnostics, and supporting our veterinarians in providing optimal patient care. 💫🏩

Taryn's favourite part of her role is providing in-hospital nursing care and helping patients recover, while seeing their progress firsthand. She has a passion for diagnostics and performing dental cleanings. She takes pride in mentoring veterinary technologists and veterinary students early in their career, supporting their professional development in the field. 🦷📚

In her free time, Taryn loves to put her building skills to the test adding complex pieces to her LEGO collection. You can catch her cozying up at home crafting and beading with the company of her cat, Taco. She also loves to step into the great outdoors and hike in the mountains with her fiancé and two Maine C***s, Tempest and Timber. 🏕️🌄🧶
