🐾 Pet Community Feature Friday! 🐾
This month, we’re featuring New Hope Dog Rescue, a Saskatoon rescue doing incredible work to help dogs find safe, loving homes. ❤️
Since 2003 New Hope Dog Rescue has helped more than 5000 dogs connect with their people and we are honoured to be a part of their story and journey with a mission: To provide every dog in our care a safe, foster-based environment, while promoting the human-animal bond through outreach and educational initiatives.
Thinking back on the many different dogs who’ve come through our care there are many that hold a special spot in our hearts. One favourite is Comet who came up to front-line rescuers and was certain that he needed to join them that day. After confirming he was a stray he was sent to a New Hope foster home where he continued to be the most confident, sassy friend. Comet now lives in a home where he is adored, he snuggles his 4 legged sister and dotes on his person. It was like he knew to approach that day and they would get him to us. We are so grateful for every dog we can help.
If you would like to help New Hope Dog Rescue help more dogs like Comet:
Volunteer as a foster home &/or a board member
Donate time, we have many different opportunities to use individual’s skills and passions
Donate good condition used items such as kennels, leashes, washable toys
Donate food, treats, new toys, collars, leashes.
Donate financially - any donation of $20 gains you a tax receipt.
Thank a vet like our friends at Orchard Veterinary Care, we can only do the work we do because of you and them.🥰
Thank you, New Hope Dog Rescue, for everything you do for dogs in our community! 🐶❤️ We’re grateful to work alongside you and be part of these happy endings.
