As the weather gets warmer, dogs and cats can overheat very quickly. Heat stress can become serious fast, so it’s important to keep your pets cool, hydrated, and safe during hot days.

Make sure your pet has plenty of fresh water, access to shade, and avoid walks during peak heat. Never leave pets in parked vehicles, even for a short time.

If your pet is showing signs like heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or unusual tiredness, contact us right away.

🐾 Tick Check Reminder for Dogs & Cats! 🐾

Tick season is active in Saskatchewan, especially during May and June. After walks, backyard play, or time in grassy areas, check your pet carefully around the ears, neck, under legs, belly, paws, and tail area.

For cats, please remember: never use dog flea/tick products on cats, because some dog products can be toxic to them. Always use a prevention product recommended specifically for your pet.
