Happy Caturday, everyone!
I have got an amazing update for you all regarding Mr. TinTin....he has been at his foster for a little over two months now, and boy has he changed! Please enjoy the photos and videos of Tintin being happy ❤️
He is living his best life as the spoiled king of the house, so spoiled that his diabetes has completely resolved on its own! Stress diabetes is a thing in cats, and he just needed the right environment. 😸
Since becoming less stressed, he has behaviourally done a 180. We use to have to warn you about him when you came in, because he was unpredictable and cranky. Well, now he enjoys being cradled like a baby, wearing fabulous outfits, and having belly rubs. He likes going outside on his harness to enjoy fresh air and sunbathing. He also is a little stinker and likes to get into the trash 😹
As some of you may remember, Tintin had a sudden and large abscess on his face that ruptured. It was clear that the infection came from an infected tooth and that Tintin needed dental work despite having extensive dental work done before (recall his snaggle tooth). Due to his health issues Tintin was seen by a specialist at the WCVM, and will likely be losing 4-5 teeth. His surgery is booked for the 17th of September and the estimate for his procedure is $2,300.
We are collecting donations towards Tintin's surgery. If 2300 generous people donated just $1, that would help improve Tintins quality of life even more than it already has.
