Everyone, meet Ginny! The fearless, high spirited kitten that is coincidentally the smallest of the litter. She never let that stop her though! When she first started eating solid food she kept trying to suck it out of the bottom of the bowl (this is called meat nursing). She didn’t get much food into her system this way, but she was sure determined to try. She would get her face so covered in food she needed to be cleaned after each meal! But with some practice with bigger chunks, and feeding her with a spoon, she soon got the hang of it.

Ginny is a blue point tortie, so this means that she will have little bits of orange on her when her color has fully developed. Her orange will be the lighter cream color, so it takes a little longer to show. In the meantime though, you can see the white splotches or speckles where it will show up. For her these areas include under her nose, speckles on her face, and one back paw.

This is Neville, and he is such a sweet little boy. He’s not as rambunctious as the other kitties and sometimes just like some time by himself. But he does like people and has quite the strong purr(as you will hear in the next post). He is also a rare creampoint which is similar to a flamepoint, just a bit lighter in color. As he gets older, the color will show up in more areas, and darken slightly.

The first picture was taken today, and the second picture, with them all sleeping, was taken 12 days ago. It’s so cute when I can get them all in one picture. Happy Friday everyone!

I know it’s been a little while since I put up new pictures, so I thought I should get at it. They are getting bigger and their characters are starting to show! I love this stage, they are so absolutely cute and adorable 🥰 . Although, I can’t say I enjoy the litter training or trying to get them all to eat solid food. lol. Can’t have everything I guess.

Lately my daughter and I have been listening to the Harry Potter series on Audible. I highly recommend, by the way, as it has a full cast of characters reading the parts(in many cases the same actors that are in the movies). Anyway, due to this, we decided to use Harry Potter names for all the kittens this time. Do you have a favourite?
