Before and after.

Draft horse!

09/04/2026

I enjoyed a rainy day peacefully trimming my own horse, Henry. He's a 4 year old American Cream Draft. I loved that he wasn't phased by the planes flying overhead or his buddy shouting for him. He's a good boy ❤️

Admittedly, he was well overdue a trim! He always grows a ton of frog and ends up with lots of places that thrush likes to set in. Thankfully, it was all superficial and he cleaned up nicely.

I'm useless at taking pictures or videos! But here's a first, a video of me at work 🤣

This cutie pie is for sale and the breeder was taking videos to show how chill he is about having his feet done. He's a coming 2 year old, rare breed, Lippitt Morgan gelding. I've been doing his feet for the last year and he's a joy to work with. If you would like more info on him, pm me and I'll get you in touch with his breeder 😊

If there's anyone out there interested in learning more about their horses hooves, I highly recommend this podcast! Very interesting and easy to follow 😊

I am a hoofcare provider offering services on the North Shore of Massachusetts and surrounding areas. I also create The Humble Hoof®️ podcast, where we discuss countless topics of hoof health and soundness.

My 4 year old daughter wanted to draw some love hearts for me...I think someone else may end up being a farrier too 😍
