🐾🐾🐾October 20th Puppy class!!!🐾🐾🐾

I have 2 remaining spots available in my puppy class starting on Tuesday, October 20th from 6-7pm for 6 weeks.

This is for puppies between 10-20 weeks old. Classes are held at 840 Loch Lomond Road, east Saint John. Topics include how dogs learn, puppy management like housebreaking, chewing and biting. Skills taught include (but are not limited to) teaching eye contact, sit and down, stay, coming when called, how to prevent and deal with jumping and how to create a more calm, connected dog. 🐾🐾🐾Get Connected Seminar Series🐾🐾🐾

I am gauging interest in my"Less Reactive, More Responsive! Get Connected with the hind brain front brain switch" seminar series.

Part 1 is open to students who have completed one of my manners or advanced class or something equivalent. Also any students who have had private training from me.

Part 2 is open to students who have attended or audited Get Connected Part 1.

These seminars focus on methodology and philosophies that emphasize building a trusting relationship, clear and humane communication, connection and trust with your dog. Handlers learn invaluable training tools and how to speak a language dogs understand. This can decrease anxiety about things that naturally make dogs anxious or over aroused. When dogs are less anxious and more connected to their handlers they are more receptive to training in general. Therefore, they are less likely to become over engaged with distractions in the environment and in turn reactive.

Manners Classes 🐾🐾

I am taking names for my upcoming manners classes that run for 6 weeks. Dogs of any age over 5 months old will be accepted for this class.

Class times available are:

Tuesday, October 20th from 7:30-8:30pm
Thursday, October 22nd from 6-7pm

This class is designed for puppies and dogs over 5 months old. This is a basic obedience class geared towards every day manners and skills. Skills taught include (but are not limited to) sit and down stay, coming when called, eye contact, loose leash walking, how to prevent and deal with jumping and how to create a more calm and thoughtful dog.

I have a couple of available spots in my Advanced Class starting on Thursday, September 10th. Class will run from 7:30-8:30pm for 6 weeks.

This is essentially an obedience trial prep class geared towards every day manners skills. Focus will be on elevating criteria and skills in the presence of increasing distractions each week.
A previous basic obedience class is required to attend this class. Said class could have been attended through another trainer.

Come raise your training bar with me!!! It will be lots of fun😁
