Date change for the Tuesday night class. May 19th will be the start date!

Manners Classes 🐾🐾

Spaces are available in each of my upcoming manners classes that run for 6 weeks. Dogs of any age over 5 months old will be accepted for this class.

Class times available are:

Tuesday, May 19th from 7:30-8:30pm
Thursday, May 28th either from 6-7pm or 7:30-8:30 pm as I work out logistics of another class😊

This class is designed for puppies and dogs over 5 months old. This is a basic obedience class geared towards every day manners and skills. Skills taught include (but are not limited to) sit and down stay, coming when called, eye contact, loose leash walking, how to prevent and deal with jumping and how to create a more calm and thoughtful dog.

A big thank you to Ann R MacLean of Flying Tails Agility for inviting me in to share a couple of "Get Connected" seminars with some of her wonderful students! I thoroughly enjoyed working with the Friday night crew for a Part 2 follow up to my Saint John Seminar in April, and a Part 1 for some new students on Saturday!
It is always so amazing to me to witness both dogs and handlers have "lightbulb" moments as the natural, clear communication unfolds. When this happens, anxiety in dogs is reduced and they have fewer questions about what the handler is expecting of them. This stuff never gets old for me. So much fun!❤️🐾

🐾Save the date for a Get Connected Saturday!🐾
Saturday, June 27th 9-4pm
840 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, NB

After a huge response from my March session,
I am taking names for an early summer session of my "Less Reactive, More Responsive! Get Connected with the hind brain front brain switch" seminar!

Date: Saturday, June 27th, 2026. Seminar will run from 9am-4pm with a little lunch break.

There are 7 working spots available (bring your dog to work).

Working spots are $210. Working dogs must have completed my Manners or Advanced classes (or equivalent to). Intermittent crating will be required for working dogs.

Audit spots (attendance without a dog) are unlimited. Audit spots are $75.

This seminar focuses on methodology and philosophies that emphasize building a trusting relationship, clear and humane communication, connection and trust with your dog. Handlers learn invaluable training tools and how to speak a language dogs understand. This can decrease anxiety about things that naturally make dogs anxious or over aroused. When dogs are less anxious and more connected to their handlers they are more receptive to training in general. Therefore, they are less likely to become over engaged with distractions in the environment and in turn reactive.

Last spring puppy class!!!🐾🐾🐾

A few spots are available in my puppy class due to start Tuesday, May 12th from 6-7pm for 6 weeks.

This is for puppies between 10-20 weeks old. Classes are held at 840 Loch Lomond Road, east Saint John. Topics include how dogs learn, puppy management like housebreaking, chewing and biting. Skills taught include (but are not limited to) teaching eye contact, sit and down, stay, coming when called, how to prevent and deal with jumping and how to create a more calm, connected dog.
