OOGS 2026 💙✨
Where do I even begin…
Thank you Kayla Gillis and all the Ottawa Ontario Grooming Show staff for your hard work and for giving us such a safe, supportive community to grow and thrive in together. 🙏
This week was an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way. Stepping into the ring with Desi for the very last time is something I’ll carry with me forever. Earning 2nd place in freestyle felt like the most beautiful way to close that chapter — we began with a 2nd place in Mastergroom First Timers in 2018, and that’s where I caught the competitive grooming bug! What an incredible career, sweet girl. 🐾 Thank you judge Jayne — I look forward to applying your critique to my everyday trims.
The Pet Pro Throw Down with Poupée Jessica Tippett was a whole adventure — transforming a 4-month grow-out into a functional retro 5th Avenue clip in one hour was one of the most exhilarating things I’ve done in the ring. 🐩 She brought a whole different energy and taught me so much 😂 Thank you judges Marcia Strong & Master Groomer, Competitive Groomer and Grooming Educator for attempting to look over my groom 🤭
Sunday brought something so special — introducing Hughie to competitive grooming and tackling a Bedlington for only the second time in my career. He was absolutely amazing, and the thoughtful feedback from someone I deeply respect meant everything. Thank you Irina Pinkusevich 🙏🏽
And Parker — I am SO proud of that Poodle class. No placement among a beautiful lineup, but this class is a favourite. Taking everything Desi taught me and applying it to Parker’s larger body and dense coat, I’ve fallen in love with this clip. 🐩❤️ Thank you judge Anne Francis for your knowledge and wisdom.
None of this would have been possible without my incredible team Morgan MacDonald . Entering 4 classes — the most I’ve ever done — is because of YOUR support. I am so grateful. 🙏
Huge thank you to my sponsor dogma.nature 🍁🐾 There is something truly special about a Canadian brand investing in Canadian groomers and Canadian shows. Your support makes it possible for me to compete and keep pushing — and I couldn’t be more proud to represent you in every ring and every client in the salon.
