Velvet Leash Grooming Keeping Your Pets Happy And Looking Their Best Since 2004 My name is Kim and I have been working with animals since the young age of 13.

My love for animals started while growing up with 2 goofy Golden Retrievers. I began working with horses in my youth, then in 2004 made the transition to grooming. Throughout my grooming career I have also been fortunate enough to expand my knowledge of animal health by working at two 24 Hour Emergency Veterinary hospitals for 3 years, as well as at a small routine care practice. I am always tryin

g to learn new styles, techniques to offer my clients including creative grooming as in colouring and Asian Fusion. Grooming is my passion and a large part of who I am as a person today. I offer many grooming services such as Breed Clips, Teddybears, Asian Fusion, Kennel Cuts and Bath & Tidy on Dogs as well as Brush Outs and Lion Clips on cats. 🤓 Fun fact! Many (but not all!) Terriers have a harsh wire coat, which helps protect them while they work as vermin hunters. When grooming them, hand stripping is the ideal method to keep their harsh texture. Shaving companion pets is absolutely fine, though the coat will soften and possibly loose vibrancy of their coat colour.
