Maurice the Mallard was found yesterday down the road from us on Bayside Drive. We have many migratory birds that waddle these roads and want to remind people to be extra cautious this time of year while traveling to us for your pets needs!

Maurice had a damaged wing and wasn’t able to fly when we found him in the middle of the road. We were able to capture him with minimal resistance and have brought him to Stoneybrook Veterinary Services who are an Atlantic Wildlife Institute drop off location.

We hope Maurice is able to make a full recovery with their specialized care!
