Ummm… excuse us, but HOW IS IT ONLY TUESDAY?! 😂

We’ve already had a parade of adorable faces come through Avenue this week, and obviously we had to stop what we were doing and snap some pictures. 😍🐶🐱

Big ones, little ones, fluffy ones, wiggly ones, professional treat negotiators and a few who were slightly suspicious of our intentions… 😂 We love them ALL! ❤️

Seriously, getting to spend our days with your fur babies is one of the very best parts of what we do. 🥰

And to think… it’s only Tuesday! 👀🐾 We can’t wait to see who walks, wiggles, struts or gets carried through our doors next!

🐾 Surgical Superstars of the Day! 🐾

Today was another busy surgery day here at Avenue, and we had some pretty amazing patients keeping us smiling! 💕🐶🐱

From pre-op cuddles to sleepy post-surgery snuggles, our surgical patients were absolute CHAMPS! ⭐ Our team loved taking care of each and every one of them and making sure they were comfortable, cozy, and spoiled throughout their stay.

Now it’s time for the best part — heading home for some well-deserved rest, extra treats, and LOTS of snuggles. 🥰

💙🐾 Saying Goodbye to Two AMAZING Summer Students! 🐾💙

As summer starts to wind down, we have to say a very bittersweet goodbye to two incredible members of our Avenue family — Callum and Izzy! 🥹❤️

We truly don’t know what we would have done without you two this summer. You jumped in wherever you were needed, worked hard, cared for our patients, supported our team, and brought so much fun and energy to Avenue. We are FOREVER GRATEFUL to have had you! 🐶🐱💕

🎓 Callum — we are wishing you ALL the luck as you apply to vet school! Our fingers, toes, paws and claws are crossed for you! 🤞🐾 We know you have such an exciting future ahead of you, and we can’t wait to see where it takes you.

📚 Izzy — we are wishing you the absolute best as you head into your second year at UNB! We already know you’re going to ROCK IT! 💪❤️ And Izzy… we really, REALLY hope this is more of a “see you next summer” than a goodbye! 😉

Avenue simply won’t be the same without the two of you. Thank you for everything you did for our patients, our clients and especially our team. We were so lucky to have you. ❤️

What a purr-fect surgical day at Avenue! 🐾💕

We had some seriously adorable patients keeping us smiling today! 😍

🐱 Fiona — our beautiful, fluffy, long-haired girl who came in for her spay. Just look at all that gorgeous fur and those whiskers! ✨

🐶 Muffin — the sweetest curly-furred, cuddly boy who was here for his neuter. With a name like Muffin and a face like that, how are we supposed to resist the snuggles?! 🧁💙

🐶 Riley — our super sweet, doe-eyed girl who came in for her spay. Those big beautiful eyes could melt absolutely anyone! 🥹💗

And then there was Mish… who wasn't one of our surgical patients, but we simply could NOT resist snapping a picture of that adorable little face and her perfect milk mustache! 🥛🐱🤍

Safe to say, the cuteness level at Avenue was VERY high today! We hope Fiona, Muffin and Riley have smooth recoveries filled with lots of rest, treats and extra snuggles at home. 💕🐾

We ended our week on the BEST possible note… **KITTENS!** 😻 And apparently the kitten cuteness isn’t stopping because we’re starting our week with… you guessed it… **MORE KITTENS!** 🥹🐾

Is there really any better way to finish a Friday AND start a Monday?! We don’t think so! 😂💕

Our team is certainly not complaining about all the tiny paws, little meows, head boops and kitten snuggles happening around Avenue. 🐱❤️

We’re pretty sure we have the **cutest patients in Saint John!** 😍
