Wh**ey is 18 lbs of bundled up energy, love, playfulness, and mischief! 🥰
❣️ Wh**ey (and her sister, Smokey) were the only two young pups to survive and get rescued from an extreme cruelty case.
❣️ She was starved, scared, not trusting of anyone when she came into rescue. All she wanted to do was hide.
❣️ When she first arrived at our clinic, she would hide under the couch all the time, only coming out to eat/drink when humans weren't around.
❣️ Now, she's a completely different dog! She loves running around the backyard playing with all the staff dogs, is learning to walk on leash (and doing a fantastic job!), travels well in the car, and had developed a funny, happy, and quirky personality.
❣️ Wh**ey is just over a year old, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and 18lbs.
❣️ Good with other friendly dogs, cats, kids. Very shy when meeting new people, but warms up once she knows she can trust you.
❣️ Wh**ey would love a home with her sister Smokey, and/or another playful/friendly dog. Preferably with a fenced in yard!
❣️ If you'd like to meet Wh**ey, stop by the vet clinic during business hours.

Smokey is patiently waiting for her perfect forever home! 🥰
❣️ This sweet little girl had a very rough start - seized in a cruelty case, starved, beaten, neglected. Luckily, she made it out alive and ended up with Barking Mad Animal Refuge Limited (with her sister, Wh**ey) where they both had time to heal physically and mentally.
❣️ Smokey is just over a year old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and 28lbs.
❣️ Still quite shy when meeting certain people, she quickly warms up to you once she knows you are safe. Treats also help!
❣️ She would love to be adopted either with her sister, Wh**ey, or by someone who has another friendly and playful dog in the house.
❣️ She sleeps well through the night, preferably snuggling beside you in bed!
❣️ Gets along with other dogs and cats and kids.
❣️ If you'd like to meet Smokey, stop by the veterinary clinic during business hours

Little Smokey and Wh**ey had their very first leash walk! 🥰
❣️ These two had never walked on a leash before and did a pretty good job (with SugarBelle there to show them how easy it is)!
❣️ Both are 1 year old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
❣️ They have been through so much trauma in their short little lives, it's a miracle to see them come out of their shells and open up to people.
❣️ They LOVE playing with all of our staff dogs, and a friendly/playful dog friend would be very welcome in their new home.
❣️ If you'd like to meet them, stop by the vet clinic during business hours.

Smokey (and her sister, Wh**ey) were seized in a cruelty case and thankfully made it to a rescue.
❤️ Both Smokey and Wh**ey were traumatized when they got to the rescue - they'd been starved, neglected, and witnessed other dogs on the property die from Parvo or being abused. These 2 were the "lucky" ones that made it out alive.
❤️ Smokey is a little bigger than her sister, weighing in at 28 lbs!
❤️ She's spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped.
❤️ A little shy when she first meets people, but her playful side comes out once she's comfortable around you.
❤️ Smokey would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog. (and a fenced in yard)
❤️ If you'd like to meet Smokey, stop by the vet clinic.

Wh**ey (and her sister, Smokey) is one of our last foster pups! 🥰
❤️ Both were brought to the rescue after being seized in a cruelty case. Other dogs on the property were starved, had died, and Wh**ey and Smokey were severely emaciated and petrified of humans when they came into rescue.
❤️ They made the long trip to Canada from Texas in July and we've been working with them, slowly and patiently, to help them put on weight and overcome their fears.
❤️ Day by day, they've learned to trust more. Both have gained a good amount of weight.
❤️ They LOVE playing with our staff dogs now and will spend the day running around playing in the backyard.
❤️ Wh**ey is just over 1 year old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. 18 lbs.
❤️ She is still shy around strangers, and would do well living with another friendly playful dog to help her adjust to a new home. Also, a fenced in yard would be advised.
❤️ If you'd like to meet Wh**ey or Smokey, stop by the vet clinic.

ATTENTION all clients: Pipsqueek Alert!
❤️ Pipsqueek is one of our older clinic cats who can often be found on the front desk.
❤️ She is very friendly and loves all humans.
❤️ She also loves jumping in peoples' bags, jumping in peoples' cars, sneaking outside the first chance she gets (she will hide around the corner and wait for someone to open the door), and begging for treats.
❤️ When she gets outside, she enjoys sunbathing behind cars, specifically behind tires. Or sometimes just sitting behind your car when you're trying to back up.
❤️ Yesterday, a client brought her cat in for a nail trim, and Pipsqueek walked into the cat carrier for a nap. The nail trim cat was placed back in the carrier and the owner went home. When she let her cat out at home, she realized Pipsqueek was also in the carrier. So Pip had a car ride to Pennfield, and was brought back promptly.
❤️ Please keep an eye out for Pipsqueek when you come to the clinic - we don't want her to get hurt in the parking lot!
❤️ We also don't want her going on anymore road trips! 😄
