💔 With a broken heart, I have some very difficult news to share.
On Saturday, September 5th, I lost my heart horse, Dynasty. She was only 6 years old.
There really are no words that can properly express the heartbreak of losing her. She was so incredibly special to me, and my heart is still trying to understand that she is gone.
I haven’t had the heart to go through all of her pictures yet. (It probably helps a little that our Wi-Fi still isn’t working ). I do plan on sharing some beautiful pictures and memories of Dynasty as the week goes on, when I feel ready.
I’m sorry it has taken me some time to let everyone know. We are still working through the grief and trying to take things one day at a time. It wasn’t because I didn’t want people to know. I simply didn’t know how to find the words. We are still grieving. We are still trying to process what happened, and some days we are just taking things hour by hour.
Can't answer what happened, because at the end of the day we don't know what happened. So please don't ask what happened, between ourselves and the vet we tried our best, It all started with a mild fever and about 24 hours later we were putting her down. The only thing I can assure individuals about is it was not contagious.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, or simply given us the space to grieve. Your kindness means more than I can put into words right now. Also, please be patient if I'm not responding to everyone's messages.
Run free baby girl, girly girl Dynasty. You will forever be my heart horse. 💙🐴✨
