🦃🍂HAPPY THANKSGIVING! 🐾❤️
•
Thanksgiving is a time for family, delicious food, and giving thanks but did you know some of our favourite holiday foods can be dangerous for our pets?
•
🍽️As you gather around the dinner table this long weekend, please keep these common hazards away from your furry family members:
🚫 Turkey bones: Cooked bones can splinter, causing choking, blockages, or serious internal injuries.
🚫 Fatty foods & gravy: Rich foods, turkey skin, and butter can trigger pancreatitis, a potentially life-threatening condition.
🚫 Stuffing, onions & garlic: These ingredients can contain seasonings and foods that are toxic to dogs.
🚫 Alcohol: Even small amounts can cause serious illness.
🚫 Desserts & sweets: Chocolate, xylitol (found in some sugar-free products), and other ingredients can be toxic to pets.
❤️ Our tip: Keep food and garbage out of reach, remind guests not to share table scraps, and offer your pup a pet-safe treat instead!
