THIS is what I try to explain to people!! TRUE rescue is 100% needed and I support it.

The "Adopt, don't shop" module was created to support dog trafficking because it is INCREDIBLY profitable!

Pet overpopulation isn't only created by irresponsible pet owners and backyard breeders, but also by the importing of stray dogs from around the world that have not been properly vet checked and temperament tested, placed in homes and found to be bad fits or medical dumpster fires, so they end up in shelters as people decide they don't have the money, time, knowledge or tools to deal with it.

Let's take care of the issues here at home. If we stop purchasing dogs from "Rescue Retail"/canine traffickers, we might realize that our own problems are actually quite manageable and we can work on solving them much more efficiently.

What a wonderful day for Skyy! 🥰

Our youngest took a trip to Dorchester today for the start of the Monarch Kennel Club's weekend of shows, and left a new Champion*! 😁🏅

Skyy has been stuck in the 1pt curse for a few months now, but broke free today going Winner's Female and Best of Breed under judge Peter Laventhall-Wolfish (Ontario, Canada) to finish her Championship title just before turning 11 months old. 🩷 Many thanks to Peter for finding our girl, and for his kind words in the ring today.

We are SO proud of this little spitfire. She caught my eye very early in her life, and has been proving my choice right over and over ever since. She has been growing into a beautiful young hound, and I can't wait to see where the next few years take her.
