A little reminder that our Halloween Open House is happening TOMORROW from 11 AM – 3 PM! 🧡🐾

Our staff are busy decorating and even getting "caught" in a spider web🕸️

Bring the whole family (furry friends included!) for an afternoon of Halloween fun featuring:
🍬 Trick-or-treating
🎲 Games
🧙 Costume contests for kids AND pets of all ages
🧸Teddy bear exam!
🎃 And lots of spooky fun!

Costumes are encouraged, smiles are guaranteed, and we can’t wait to see everyone!🐶🐱🕸️

⚠️ TICK ALERT! 🕷️🐾

Within the last month we personally have been seeing an increase in ticks in our area, along with tick borne diseases and we want to remind everyone to keep a close eye on their furry family members! 🐶🐱

Ticks can be found in tall grass, wooded areas, leaf piles, and even your own backyard. They can carry multiple diseases that pose a risk to both pets and people, so prevention is key!

🐾 Here’s how you can protect your pets:
✅ Check your pets for ticks after spending time outdoors, especially around the ears, neck, armpits, between the toes, and under the tail.
✅ Keep your pets on a veterinarian-recommended tick prevention product year-round.
✅ Keep grass trimmed and yards tidy to help reduce tick habitats.
✅ Contact your veterinarian if you find a tick and need help with safe removal or if your pet develops any unusual symptoms.

🚨 Remember: Even a quick walk outside can expose your pet to ticks!
