�Colors are fun but health, temperament and breed standard are our focus. After these three things have been met then our focus is on the unique, rare and striking Blue Eyed

Maine C**n a beautifully distinct trait that is a recent genetic mutation seen in certain bloodlines.
� We got our first European blue eyed male in 2020, he hales from the Joyfield line of blue eyed Maine c***s. In 2021 we got our first blue eyed female from Blue Ridge, she is fully unrelated to any in the Joyfield line of blue eyed Maine C***s.
� My goal is to maintain two distinct lines of healthy blue eyed Maine C***s that are excellent examples of the breed standard. WOLFRIC | His Next Adventure 💙

Wolfric is certainly an easy boy to notice.

He is a striking black silver with white, blue eyes and patty paw polydactyl feet, with those big Maine C**n ears and a face that is becoming more impressive as he grows.

But before anyone asks, Wolfric is NOT available. ❤️

He has been selected to go to another cattery, where he will hopefully become part of their future breeding program. As a third generation Marwood Maine C**n, I’m excited to see him carry a little piece of Marwood with him as he begins this next chapter.

WEDNESDAY | Smoke Beneath the Black 🖤

Wednesday is one of those kittens whose coat you really need to see as she moves.

At first glance she looks like a dark little girl, but Wednesday is a black smoke. Look closer and you can see that pale silver undercoat beginning to show through around her face, chest and legs.

As her adult coat grows, that contrast between the dark tips and much lighter roots should become even more noticeable.

And somehow that dark little face paired with those enormous baby eyes suits the name Wednesday perfectly. 😂🖤

Winnie is really starting to show off that classic Maine C**n look.

She is our brown classic tabby girl, and I love the contrast in her face. She has those dark markings around her eyes and across her forehead, paired with a much lighter muzzle that makes her expression stand out.

Then there are the beginnings of those big ears and little lynx tips that seem to get more noticeable every week. ❤️

XANTHOS | One Very Striking Face 🖤💙

Xanthos has a face you remember.

He is our black smoke boy with white and odd eyes, and his colouring gives him a completely different look from the rest of his litter.

His coat is wonderfully dark, while the lighter smoke underneath is beginning to peek through around his chest and face. Then there is that little patch of white beneath his mouth.

But obviously, the feature you notice first is his eyes. 👀

One bright blue eye against his dark coat beside an eye of another colour makes for one seriously striking boy.

XERXES | That Maine C**n Face 🖤🩶

Xerxes is starting to lose that round baby kitten look and develop a much more recognizable Maine C**n expression.

He is a black silver boy, with bold dark markings framing a much lighter silver muzzle and chin.

But look at that face.

The strong muzzle, dark nose, enormous ears and increasingly prominent ear tips are already giving us a glimpse of what Xerxes might look like as an adult.

XANDER | Red Silver and Growing Into Those Ears ❤️

Xander is our other red silver boy, but put him beside Xavier and you can immediately see how different two kittens of the same general colour can look.

Xander has a richer, warmer red throughout his coat, with those beautiful lighter silver areas underneath.

But right now, I think his ears are stealing the show. 😂

They seem to be growing faster than the rest of him, and those little tips are starting to give him that unmistakable Maine C**n look.

You really don’t need much explanation for what makes Xavier stand out.

Look at those eyes. 👀

Xavier is our red silver boy with white and odd eyes, with one beautiful blue eye beside an eye that is developing an entirely different colour.

His soft red silver colouring makes the contrast even more noticeable. Rather than the deeper red you sometimes see, Xavier has a wonderfully pale, almost creamy appearance.

I’m not sure Xyra could have fit much more into one little Maine C**n.

She is a black silver tortie with white, so her coat is already a mixture of silver, black and warm red.

Then look at her face.

One side has that beautiful warm colouring sweeping across her forehead and around her eye, while the other side is darker. Her white muzzle and chest brighten everything up.

And just in case all of that wasn’t enough, she has odd eyes. 👀

XENA | It’s All About That Silver 🩶

Xena’s colouring is becoming more beautiful every time I photograph her.

She is our black silver girl, but what really catches my eye is just how light her face is becoming. She has that gorgeous silver around her muzzle, cheeks and eyes, contrasted by the much darker markings across the top of her head and along her body.

And then there are those ears. ❤️

She is already developing those long Maine C**n ear furnishings that make her look considerably more grown up than she actually is.

XYLLA STORM | Litter X 🖤🧡

Take a close look at Xylla Storm’s face because her markings are pretty remarkable.

She has an orange stripe running through the black fur on her face, but when it reaches her chin, the colours reverse and it becomes a black stripe running through the orange. It almost looks as though someone switched colours halfway through painting her. ❤️

And Xylla is every bit as interesting as her markings. She is adventurous and sweet all the way through, always ready to see what is going on while still being an incredibly loving little girl.
