Season greetings!
As we say hello to 2026,
I want to take a moment to pause and reflect on our 2025 season!
We began the season hopeful and optimistic that this year would be a great year. It was fun to pot the seeds and watch them germinate and leaf out!
We had a touch of cool weather after planting and then came the heat! Many mornings we could only hoe weeds a short time before it got too hot!
For the first time in 20 years, we had to irrigate. A big thank you to all those who helped with this endeavour!!
Our porch package day is our kick-off to the season (mid September)and to see your smiles as you pick up your packages made all the hard work, sweat and tears all worthwhile!!
Every year is filled with new and old faces, new families, new additions, and sadly some who don’t return due to illness or passing on. We miss those familiar faces and the conversations we’ve had.
Traditionally, we have collected for the Food Bank and matched your donations. This year we donated a combined total of $420 to the Salvation Army Food Bank in Ridgetown.
Thank you to all our new and trusted customers who have become like family and friends. We look forward to seeing you in September!! Wishing you all the best in 2026!!
