Wednesday mornings, you might notice I am not working the store. I spend it helping the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank working along side a group of amazing volunteers.

Is fish your favourite dish? Many of our food bank clients wish for fish, so volunteer Michael is happy to show off a freezer full of protein from the sea!

Many boxes of basa steak and shrimp rings were purchased thanks to funds our bingo volunteers earned through the Charitable Gaming Community Good program at Bingo World and Gaming Richmond Hill.

Our Richmond Hill Community Food Bank is one of 70+ charities able to earn a portion of proceeds from the gaming facility, so each person enjoying bingo or gaming machines is actually helping feed hungry families in their neighbourhood!

Thanks, Bingo World Richmond Hill and thanks to everyone who helps us feed the 4,000+ clients who turn to us each month for emergency food aid.
