My Birthday was a great success. Thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.

He did it!

Tru Pet owner Michael Taggart hoped to celebrate his 40th milestone birthday by collecting 1,600 lbs of dog and cat food for our Richmond Hill Community Food Bank.

Thanks to generous customers and your community support, he reached his goal!

Now this huge collection of dog and cat food is coming to our food bank to be distributed to any pet parents coming for emergency food aid.

From all the cats and dogs of Richmond Hill and Thornhill, big thanks to Michael!

🎉 HUGE UPDATE: We are crushing it! 🐾
As you know, Michael turned 40, and to celebrate this milestone, we’ve set a massive goal: raising 1,600 lbs of dog and cat food for the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank!
Thanks to this incredible community, we have official reached 1,100 lbs! 🙌 That means we only have 500 lbs to go to cross the finish line and hit our ultimate goal!
While Michael might have changed his look since this epic teen throwback photo was taken (you're welcome for the stroll down memory lane, Michael! 😂), his love for local pets has stayed exactly the same.

To celebrate this milestone, we set a massive goal to raise 1,600 lbs of dog and cat food for the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. Today, we are thrilled to share that we are officially halfway there! Thanks to your incredible generosity, 800 lbs of food is already locked in for local pets in need. But the party isn’t over yet, and we need your help to cross the finish line and smash this goal!
