๐Ÿพ Meet Hugo! ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’™

At just 2 months old, Hugo came in to see Dr. Kristen for his very first round of kitten vaccines! ๐ŸŽ‰ Vaccinations are an important part of keeping kittens protected as they grow, helping to build immunity against common and preventable diseases.

Hugo also joined our Pet Health Club, giving him access to preventative care, wellness benefits, and support throughout his first year and beyond. ๐Ÿฉบโœจ

Did you know? Kittens need a series of vaccines during their first few months of life because the protection they receive from their mother gradually wears off.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Cat lovers, tell us: What was the funniest thing your kitten did when they first came home? Share your stories below! โฌ‡๏ธ๐Ÿพ Can you also guess what his breed is?

Buttercup stopped by to see Dr. Kristen for her annual wellness exam and picked up her parasite prevention for the season! ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿพ

Annual checkups are an important part of keeping our pets healthy and happy. These visits allow us to monitor changes over time, discuss lifestyle and nutrition, and catch potential health concerns early; before they become bigger problems.

With warmer weather here, itโ€™s also the perfect time to make sure your pet is protected against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and other parasites. Prevention is always easier than treatment!

Way to go, Buttercup! ๐Ÿ’›

Presley stopped by for her annual checkup with Dr. Hughes! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’•

Annual wellness exams are about so much more than a quick nose-to-tail assessment. Every pet is unique, which is why we tailor each visit to their individual needs, lifestyle, age, and health history.

Whether your pet is an indoor cuddle bug, an outdoor adventurer, a growing youngster, or enjoying their senior years, annual exams give us the opportunity to discuss nutrition, parasite prevention, behaviour, dental health, diagnostics, and any concerns you may have. Together, we create a personalized plan to help keep your furry family member happy and healthy all year long.

Way to go, Presley! We loved seeing you today. ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿถโค๏ธ

๐Ÿพ Comet came in for a weight check today to pick up his parasite prevention! ๐Ÿพ

At just 8 months old, Comet is already growing into a handsome young pup but heโ€™s not done yet! Most dogs continue to develop physically until around 12โ€“18 months of age, depending on their breed and size. That means Comet still has plenty of growing, filling out, and maturing ahead of him over the next few months.

Regular weight checks are an important part of monitoring healthy growth and ensuring puppies stay on track as they develop. We love watching our patients grow from energetic puppies into healthy adult dogs and Comet is doing great so far! ๐Ÿ’™

Have you guessed how big this sweet boy will be when heโ€™s fully grown? ๐Ÿถโœจ

Cypress came in to see Dr. Kristen after her family noticed blood in her urine ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿพ

Blood in the urine can be caused by a variety of conditions and should never be ignored. During Cypressโ€™ visit, we performed a urine test to help determine the underlying cause and guide the best treatment plan for her.

Some possible causes of blood in the urine include:
๐Ÿ”น Urinary tract infections
๐Ÿ”น Bladder inflammation
๐Ÿ”น Bladder stones
๐Ÿ”น Stress-related urinary issues
๐Ÿ”น Kidney disease
๐Ÿ”น More serious underlying conditions

A urinalysis allows us to look for bacteria, crystals, blood cells, and other abnormalities. Early diagnosis is key when it comes to urinary concerns, as prompt treatment can help prevent discomfort and complications ๐Ÿ’™

Weโ€™re wishing Cypress a speedy recovery and lots of comfort at home! โœจ
