😻 BEANS ! 😻

💙Fittingly named Beans, 🤗 was found in the same area in richibucto that sweet Tabitha was found who was FELV/FIV positive last week. We suspected he may be her son with the extra toes on both of them, so we brought him into the vet today & had his viral testing & parasite treatment. Thankfully he is FELV/FIV negative & a healthy boy! 🙌🏻

💙His foster home has already adopted him & he will live his best inside life with his brother & sisters & extra toe beans 🥹

❣️MEET DOJA AVAILABLE❣️

💜Miss Doja was a surrender when she unexpectedly got pregnant. Doja is a healthy 3 year-old who is getting spayed on June 12 & will be ready for a new home. She is extremely docile & does well with other cats, dogs, & children from her previous household.

💜She is an amazing mama & now it’s time to give her a break. Doja is parasite treated and she will be available for adoption one week after her surgery for $150.

💜The 2 oldest kittens of Doja’s are already pre-adopted & orphaned Olivia is not yet up for adoption. Stay tuned 🫶🏼

🤗PRE ADOPTED🤗

It’s absolutely no surprise that gorgeous Eddy has been pre-adopted to the most loving home

🤗He will be king of the castle & the centre of attention!! He will go to his new home at the end of May 

💙My colleague Max's Cat Rescue has a beautiful fixed male for adoption under a year old check her out !! Adoptions mean we can take in more & continue to clear the situation in Richibucto/Aldouane & move on to other areas🫶🏼

🤍 We have some heartbreaking news on this friday evening 🤍

🤍Tabitha (the tabby rescue that Max's Cat Rescue held overnight for me) was unfortunately both FIV & FELV positive, and progressing quickly. She was barely a year old. We had to make the tragic decision to humanely euthanize her.

Feline leukaemia is extremely contagious and unfortunately there is no cure. It advances very quickly, causing a lot of pain & suffering. 

🤍A mummified body of a cat who died curled up sleeping was also found in the same area. Named Cleopatra, they were both cocooned in their own new blankets. We will be going back with painted rocks where the sticks currently are.

Please bear with us as we take the evening to decompress and a huge thank you to Mélissa Justine for humanely laying them to rest & being with me while Kent County Veterinary Hospital did the most amazing job in her last moments ♥️♥️♥️ RIP SWEET BABIES. BE FREE 😭

Today we went back to the colony and to the shed cat condos we did not know existed before. once I started stripping the sheets, I found a cat deceased in a cat bed. The body is mostly mummified and was curled in a sleeping position.

We will be doing a special burial for this angel 💝

Newest intake coming from the situation in Richibucto that we’re trying to clear! So thankful for my colleague & foster out there trapping 🙏🙏 there was also a kitten found ♥️

We had a fun outing tonight and went to see Three Days Grace.
Once I got home I checked one of our traps and bam we got another cat from Adrien's colony! Finally making some progress. I can poke her nose which is a good beginning.

Update: this cat was unfortunately humanly euthanized due to being FIV and FELV positive.
