We are in need of a very special foster home for Elsa!

This girl is ten years old. She came into care with an injury to her back leg which ended up amputated.

Elsa needs a quiet home with either no other animals or older dogs. She is currently fostered with multiple dogs and she doesn’t seem happy. She tends to put her self the furthest away from where the other dogs are and there is some that she does not like and will growl.

Elsa is still healing from her amputation and an infection in her elbow. She will then need dental work so she still has a long journey.

Please let us know if you can foster her! Shoot us a message and we will be happy to answer any questions!

House Training: Poppy is fully trained and will go to the door when she needs to go out.
Personality: Poppy has got a lot of energy. She loves to play with other dogs. Her ideal home would be with another dog who wants to play. This would help her with her energy. 🐶 🐶 So if you were thinking of getting your dog a dog… this is her!!
💝Poppy entertains herself by playing with her toys. She does like to tear the stuffing out of them. She also likes to play tug and to chew on her chew toys.
🤗 Poppy loves hanging with people. If she wants to get cuddles she will climb up on you for affection. She loves a good belly rub.
🥰 At night she likes to sleep on the bed with everyone else.
🦘 When Poppy meets new people she gets over excited and will jump up. She’s working on it now with us, though this is something you will want to continue working with her to stop this.
🩷Poppy likes treats and will sit for them.
🏃 🐕 Poppy likes to go for walks and does very well. Using a harness works really good for her. She is a good walker. She will pull if she sees cats squirrels or rabbits. We have been getting her to sit and stay when she pulls. This is a work in progress

Poppy is ready to give all her love to her forever family.

Very food motivated and picking up basic commands quickly! She’s even comfortable with the vacuum and leaf blower already.
