Excalipurr Cat Café
Located in the heart of the city, Excalipurr is Regina’s purrveyor of fine specialty coffees and vegetarian fair – served with the finest of feline accompaniment. Cat cafés have two components — a café/restaurant in one area, and a cat salon in the other. Customers can stay on the cafe side, or take their beverages and food over to the other room to hang out with the kitties.

Excalipurr will offer Regina a new style of cafe with delicious food and excellent specialty drinks with the added experience of snuggling an adoptable cat. Excalipurr is honoured to partner with three Saskatchewan based rescues who will provide a bevy of adoptable cats that you can lie around with while you enjoy your latte. A small cover charge will help keep the cats in style. And if you’re smitten by one of our kittens, you can apply to make it official with your new familiar. All cats will be spayed or neutered, and will be up to date on vaccinations. Excalipurr Cat Café is located at 2156 Albert Street, a character building in the Cathedral area of Regina. Chelsey Legendre is a 32-year-old entrepreneur. She has many years experience working with kids and youth in various positions, and experience with women struggling with addiction and the homeless of Regina. Chelsey also has a management background in the coffee industry. She is an avid animal lover and mental health advocate. Giles Steel is Vice-Purresident (Feline Affairs). Giles busted into the back of Excalipurr the very night the lease was signed. He is skilled in survival, tax preparation and the manly art of love. Giles is seeking a more permanent arrangement once he sees Excalipurr launched. He can be reached through Regina Cat Rescue.

Onyx has been at the cafe now for over a YEAR 🤯

He loves other cats, he needs to be adopted with one of his buddies or into a home that has a friend that is willing to snuggle and wrestle with him all day. He may not be a lap cat as of right now but he loves his person, I can tell you from first hand experience.

Can you help us on this holiday Monday??? Can you share this post? Comment on why you love Onyx so much, or tag someone you know might be a perfect fit for him. Anything to help get this boy noticed! I adore him but it’s time he finds his forever.

This post has been a long time coming and I am sorry it took me so long to post.

I was contacted almost a year ago from a wonderful woman about meeting up to discuss a donation. I was able to meet up with a few beautiful ladies who proceeded to tell me about Heather Russell, their beloved friend who had passed away. ❤️ They told me about her beautiful spirit and personality and love for cats. They also explained that Heather, who I hadn’t met personally, left the cafe a monetary donation in her will and also included that she wanted to sponsor some things the cafe needed.

I was blown away and so grateful. This amazing woman blessed us in ways that I hope she can see ❤️ On top of a monetary donation, the cafe was able to get new stainless steel litter boxes, two new couches and two new chairs as well as a new hideaway bench for the cats.

Heather, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity was such a blessing! We will remember you always here at the cafe. ❤️

What a day!!! Our 5th Annual Yard Sale was such a success! I went into today not knowing whether people would show up in the heat, but you did!!! We had a record amount of items donated. So much so we packed out the trailer and had to still store more in the cafe! 🤩

The total came to just under $2000 with a few more donations on their way!!! Soooo AMAZING!

Thank you to everyone who donated items, to everyone that stopped by to shop or leave monetary donations and our neighbours that put up with the busy traffic. Special thank you to our volunteers today (not all shown) for working in the heat and keeping such a positive attitude and to the cafe staff that helped haul all the donations throughout the week. I could not do it without each and every one of you!!

The rest of the items not sold today are heading to the SCRAPS Moose Jaw store or to Street Cats Of Regina online garage sale. So everything is still going to help kitties!! Yay!!! ❤️
