MEET TANYA | RVT SPOTLIGHT 🤩✨

Tanya has been part of VMC since we first opened in July 2018!!! 😮👏 Tanya brings an incredible 24 years of experience as an RVT to our team. Recently, Tanya transitioned from her role as Clinic Manager to ✨Pharmacy and Clinical Standards Manager✨ where she oversees a wide range of important behind-the-scenes operations that keep VMC running.

On top of her RVT duties, Tanya manages hospital inventory and supplies, coordinates with product representatives, and works closely with our DVM’s and staff to ensure the products we carry, recommend, and offer to our clients meet VMC’s high standards of quality and care. 🤝

Tanya also oversees equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, develops and maintains clinic protocols and policies, and serves as the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Committee Chairperson. 👷‍♀️🛠️Recently, Tanya has also taken on building management and maintenance oversight. Needless to say, Tanya keeps busy and we wouldn’t be able to operate without her!

MEET HUNTER | RVT SPOTLIGHT 🩺👩‍⚕️

Hunter is one of our Primary Surgical RVTs 🙌✨

She spends most of her time in surgery, caring for our patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. Hunter works closely with all of our doctors, but is Dr. Horan go-to for orthopaedic surgery. She’s often the last face they see before going to sleep and the first friendly face they see when they wake up! 🥹 From keeping a close eye on them to giving extra cuddles, love, and reassurance, Hunter makes sure our patients feel safe every step of the way. 🐶

If your fur-baby has ever had a procedure done at VMC, Hunter has likely been a part of it! 🫶

Hunter will also be stepping into the role of ✨Medical & Surgical Team Lead✨!

Along with her surgical responsibilities, Hunter helps mentor our veterinary technology students, train new technologists, and maintain our laboratory and anesthetic equipment to keep everything running smoothly.

We’re so grateful for the all the hard work, expertise and love Hunter brings to VMC. Thank you for everything you do Hunter! 🐾

MEET KABRINA \ RVT SPOTLIGHT🐶✨

Kabrina is truly a superstar 🌟 She has been a part of the team since almost the beginning and VMC wouldn’t be who we are today without her dedication, leadership, and passion for helping animals!

Recently, Kabrina stepped into the role of ✨Clinic Floor Manager✨ where she oversees a team of 25+ staff members. She has absolutely excelled in this role, and we are so grateful for everything she brings to our team! 💙

When Kabrina is not managing the clinic floor, Kabrina works one-on-one with patients to help them move their best and live more comfortable, pain-free lives. 🐶🐾

Kabrina is an RVT, Certified in Clinical Integrative Canine Rehabilitation (CCICR) and Certified in Canine Arthritis Management (CAM). Kabrina’s services include, therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation therapy, therapeutic modalities, myofascial release techniques, post surgery orthopedic rehabilitation and is our go-to for our extra special wheelchair patients. 🥹🫶

Thank you Kabrina, for being such an essential part of VMC! We’re so incredibly lucky to have you on our team!

MEET SHELBY | RVT SPOTLIGHT 🩺💙

RVT’s play so many important roles in veterinary medicine, not only as technicians but also behind the scenes!

Shelby is our Medical & Surgical Lead (Wow!), she supports the team, helps oversee daily clinic operations, and works to ensure every patient receives exceptional care. She’s also an AAHA Anesthesia Champion, with a special interest in anesthesia, surgery, pain management, and patient comfort. ✨

From assisting Dr. Horan with orthopedic surgeries to advocating for patients and supporting her teammates, her dedication makes a difference every day. 🐶🐱

AND you may also recognize her from our clinic’s social media! But she’s officially passing the torch as she prepares for maternity leave. 🥹🤰💗

This RVT Week, we’re proud to celebrate the skill, compassion, and dedication RVTs bring to our team and every patient they care for! 🐾

The city of Regina has postponed the Hoffer Drive construction till 2027. We have no other updates in regard to the construction at this time.

The City of Regina will be completing roadway work near Veterinary Mobility Center from October 10–25, 2026 (dates tentative and subject to change).

⭐️Please allow extra time to arrive for your appointment and follow all posted construction signage. Construction may affect traffic flow, access to the clinic, and parking availability.

⭐️Parking information:⭐️

• Client parking will continue to be available at the front of the building where access permits.
• Additional client parking will be available at the back of the building as needed.
•Please ensure vehicles are parked in an orderly manner and that sufficient space is left for other vehicles to move safely and access the parking area.

We would like to welcome Dr. Yuliia Dakal to the Veterinary team! Dr. Dakal will be taking on patients starting tomorrow, October 9th!✨

Fun Facts:
• Dr. Dakal previously practiced in Ukraine! 🇺🇦
• Speaks English, Ukranian and Russian.
• Has been working in veterinary medicine for the last 10 years.
• Has two cats at home - Fernando and Zoya, both adopted from a rescue! 🐱
• Dr. Dakal decided she wanted to be a veterinarian at 7 years old and never changed her mind!

Dr. Dakal is very excited to meet you and your fur babies! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Dakal! 🫶

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Kristen Sigfrid to the Veterinary Mobility Center team! 💚

Dr. Sigfrid has been caring for pets as a veterinarian across Saskatchewan for almost 20 years!! Wow!! 🤩 We’re so excited to have her experience and passion on our team.

Dr. Sigfrid will be joining us part-time and has a special interest in:
🐾 Dermatology
🐾 Dental Care
🐾 Urgent Care

Dr. Sigfrid is now accepting new patients and is looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
