Meet Jett 🐾
Hey everyone! I’m Jett, one of the owners of Hound Hangout Canine Center. I was born and raised in Regina by the best support system, my mom, dad and sister. I grew up with a huge love for animals and have always had a house full of them, from dogs and cats to a bearded dragon and even rats! My journey with animals started when I was around 14 years old, volunteering at the Humane Society. From there, I spent six years working in doggy daycare and spent two years in veterinary medicine. Every experience along the way has only made my passion for animals stronger. Hound Hangout has been a dream of mine for a very long time.
I currently have three cats, Rosalina, Wendi and Ester, and my two rescue dogs, Butler and Zeke. To say my dogs mean the world to me would be an understatement. If you ask anyone in my life, they’ll probably tell you I talk too much about my dogs, and that most of the pictures on my phone and socials are of them 🐾❤️
Dogs are truly my passion, and that is exactly why I wanted to create Hound Hangout. I love getting to know all the different personalities that dogs have. No two dogs are the same, and every single one has their own quirks, energy, and little things that make them who they are. I love watching their confidence grow, seeing friendships form, and creating a place where they are excited to come every day.
My goal for Hound Hangout has always been to create a safe, positive, and enriching environment that feels like a home away from home. Seeing dogs light up when they walk through our doors, some not wanting to leave, and hearing that they’re excited to come back means more to me than I can put into words.
