Anyone else in denial this is going to be all of us soon?

What are everyone’s tricks or advice for the “if it’s stupid but it works, is it really stupid? ” or “ if anyone seen me doing this, they would think I was bonkers….” things/tips to get themselves and animals thru the winter. Please, share your knowledge and experience! Can be anything you wish someone else knew to make life easier. ( besides moving to a different climate 😂)
