I love when the besties still get together 💞

It is coming up on nearly a year of Mia's passing. I miss her physical presence so bad. I can still hear her little bark and feel her eyeing me when I chop veggies. I vividly remember the way she was perfectly molded to fit my arm and be carried around like the pocket princess she was 😢
When I shift that mourning into gratitude and focus on how amazing it was to be her dog mom for so many years, I feel that shift of energy. A smile forms and contented happiness floods my system. ❤‍🩹
If I could change anything, (for anyone grieving the loss of their pet), it would be that dogs could live longer. And though I am skilled at cooperative care grooming; making dogs live forever is a talent I haven't been able to master 😜
I do believe (at least in my wonderful community) that we are all doing the best we can. We all do everything we can, with the knowledge we currently have, that we are doing what we feel is best for our pets and giving them their best lives!
Death is a part of that, and whether it comes up quickly, comes too soon or unexpectedly, or even comes with planning and choosing that path FOR them, it is incredibly painful.
I still grieve Mia. (And Sprout, and Speck AND all the fur babies I have had the privileged to groom- I often scroll through old photos and think of you and your dogs 💖)

This baby girl is on the right track for cooperative care success!!! Not only will her haircuts be beautiful, her mom will be able to check in her ears, clean her teeth, administer medication, look at any owies, BECAUSE of the work she is putting in to show Peach what cooperative care is. It's all about the trust 🥰

Hello my lovely clients 💖

This is a difficult post for me to make, but it’s an important one. I truly understand that life happens — schedules change, emergencies come up, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. I always try to be as understanding and accommodating as possible, and open communication goes a very long way.

That said, as a one-on-one grooming salon, my schedule is carefully planned to give each dog calm, focused, individualized care. Last-minute cancellations, no-shows, and late pick-ups leave gaps that are very difficult for a small business to fill on short notice. In order to continue providing the level of care and service I pride myself on, I do need to begin consistently enforcing the policies outlined in my service agreement.

Thank you so much for your understanding, support, and respect for my time and business. I appreciate every single one of you — and your dogs — more than you know. 🐾
