Spicy kitten syndrome can be prevented

SINGLE KITTEN SYNDROME is real. We've had many a kitten surrendered to us because they were raised alone & in the absence of an appropriate playmate, kittens have chosen children in the home. What is play to a tiny kitten seems like an attack to a small child. In several cases, owners came for solutions not surrender and in every case adding a friend turned it all around!

Well our Itty Bitty came in as a single and we knew we needed to find a sibling for her. And thanks to Trish and Linda at New Hope Cat Rescue we found one. I am pleased to introduce Itty Bitty 2.0. Left behind by his community cat mama he is fresh off the streets. As soon as he finishes 2 week quarantine, these 2 littles will be sharing a room & we hope to see them become best friends. So grateful to foster mom Christina for being his hero!

I have been busy raising kittens! Time for their first nail trim 😸❤️

We know we’re not perfect, but every single day, we give our very best for the kitties who need us. ❤️🐾

There are long hours, sleepless nights, heartbreak, tears, and moments that truly test our hearts. But there are also second chances, tiny purrs, happy endings, and the incredible joy of knowing we helped a cat who needed someone to care.

This rescue work isn’t always easy, but we will always show up. We will always keep trying. And we will never give up on these kitties. ❤️

We are so grateful to be able to serve our community and be a safe place for those who have nowhere else to turn. Thank you to everyone who supports us, believes in us, and loves these cats alongside us.

Together, we keep going. One kitty, one heart, one second chance at a time. 🐾❤️

We want to send a very special thank you to one of our amazing Dream Team Foster moms, Jen B! She helps us with all our newborns that need bottlefeeding and around the clock care! When tiny newborns come to us there are so many health challenges and sometimes no matter how heroic the efforts are, it still can be a losing battle. This special foster mom goes through weeks of around the clock care with very little rest, as well as working full-time! She pours her heart and soul into every kitten that comes her way and we are so grateful to her! we are 100% Volunteer run with no paid staff!
