Ellie's Mini Schnauzers We love Mini Schnauzers! We raise these sweet, Mini Schnauzer puppies in our home as part of our family.

I work on house training with them so you already have a good foundation when the come into their forever homes. I love calling each pup by name once you have chosen what you would would like to call him or her. If you are not familiar with this breed, they are very loyal, friendly dogs who have the temperament of a large breed dog in a small body; mine love children and will let me know when someone has arrived, but will quiet down once they have met our guests (rather than yapping endlessly like other small dogs). They are classified as non-shedding, hypo-allergenic and I find they travel well and have a good balance of energy to go for a run but also mellow out and snuggle for a movie. You can expect hair cuts to cost in the range of $45-$60 and typically should go every 6-8 weeks to maintain the "Schnauzer Cut." All in all, I am absolutely in love with the sweet personalities of my Mini Schnauzers and could not recommend them more!

Our Story — Why We Started Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd.

We are Mike and Natasha Routly, and the story behind Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd. is deeply personal to us.

Mike grew up in Ontario and eventually moved to Saskatchewan for work. Animals have always been a part of his life, and he has always understood the special bond we share with them.

Natasha was born and raised in the Battlefords and has had dogs by her side throughout her life. Animals have always been an important part of her family and have shaped so much of who she is.

Our decision to start this business came after we experienced something no pet owner ever wants to go through—we lost three of our beloved dogs within two and a half years.

Bear was Natasha’s lifelong companion for 13 years. She was there through some of Natasha’s most difficult moments and was a constant source of comfort and unconditional love.

Sophie was Mike’s beloved dog for eight years. She was his world and an incredibly important part of his life.

And then there was Belle, our rescue from our local humane society. Belle was a dog we chose together, and we lovingly called her our “lucky charm.” She was there through some tough and happy times. She was there when our daughter, Sophia, was born. She will always be a special part of our family’s story.

Losing Bear, Sophie, and Belle changed us.

They weren’t just pets.

They were family. ❤️

Through our own experiences, we realized how important it is for families to feel that their beloved companion is being cared for with compassion, dignity, respect, and genuine care during one of the hardest moments they will face.

That is why we created Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd.

We wanted to build a service from the
heart—one where we could give other families the kind of care and peace of mind we wished we had received when we said goodbye to our own dogs.

Today, our family includes Journey, Lily, and Luna, who keep our home full of love, laughter, and plenty of dog hair. 🐾 They share a very special bond with our daughter, Sophia, and remind us every day why this work means so much to us.

Our business will always be more than a business.

It was inspired by Bear, Sophie, and Belle—and built from the love we have for animals and the families who call them their own.

We know how hard it is to say goodbye. We know the love behind that goodbye. And we understand the trust you place in someone when you entrust them with your beloved companion.

We are honored to be that person for your family.
