🌲🐾 Dobie Ranch Noon Walk 🐾🌲

All 4 dogs + GK joined us for our noon walk today! ❤️

Missy found herself yet another stick… and apparently, it was TOP SECRET and NOT to be shared with Onyx! 🪵😂

You’ll notice me calling “Missy, come!” in the video. Well… she had more important things to worry about. Like keeping Onyx away from her treasure! 🤣

And as we get closer to home, she does what she always does… disappears into the bush to hide her stick for another day. 🌳🪵

At this point, I’m not walking a dog… I’m helping manage a growing stick empire! 😂😂

🐾 Noon Walk at Dobie Ranch 🐾

Apparently, the pack has decided I spend entirely too much time at my computer. 😂💻

So Onyx, Simba & Missy convinced me it was time to step away from the screen and go for a walk.

Three dogs. One human. No chance of winning that argument. 😂

Karma, meanwhile, decided she had more important things to do — squirrel duty! 🐿️🤣

She eventually caught up with us on the trail. ❤️

And Missy? Of course, she found another stick to bring along. Because one stick is clearly never enough. 😂🌿

Computer abandoned. Dogs happy. Mission accomplished. 🐾❤️

🌅 Morning Walk at Dobie Ranch 🐾

Good morning from the Ranch! ❤️

This morning’s walking crew started with Onyx, Simba & Missy 🐶🐶🐶

Karma decided to stay behind on squirrel patrol 🐿️… but eventually caught up with us because apparently she wasn’t going to miss out after all! 😂

And of course, Missy found herself another stick and decided it absolutely needed to come along for the walk. 🌿🪵🤣

Fresh air, happy dogs, lots of sniffing and a little stick shopping… just another morning at Dobie Ranch! ❤️🐾

And Missy is still waiting for her forever family. ❤️

🐾 WELCOME TO DOBIE RANCH, MISSY! 🐾

Today we officially joined Marshall’s Dog Foster Army, and Dobie Ranch welcomed a very sweet new member of the pack — Missy! ❤️

To help make her introduction to the pack as successful as possible, we started things off at a dog park in town, where Missy got to meet our resident grumpy boy, Simba. 😆

Well… let’s just say Missy pulled out the charm card and won Simba over within seconds! ❤️

Once we arrived back at Dobie Ranch, Missy joined Simba and Onyx, our current boarder, for a pack walk. It went wonderfully! She enjoyed lots of sniffing, a little playing, and, of course, found herself a great stick. 🌿

Unfortunately for Onyx, she decided that stick was hers. 😂 Onyx tried very hard to convince her otherwise, but Missy was having absolutely none of it!

After the walk, Missy had her supper and showed no signs of food aggression, which is another great first-day sign. 👍

And now she’s settling in with some easy roughhousing and getting comfortable with her new pack. 🐾

All in all, a very successful first day for Missy! ❤️

Missy will be 2 years old in November and is a sweet Rottie mix who is looking for her forever home. We’ll give her all the time she needs to decompress, settle in, and show us who she really is.

🐾 Guess who’s back at Dobie Ranch! 🐾❤️

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted, but our girl Onyx is back for another two-week stay!

She settled right back in with Simba and Karma like she never left. 🥰

The days are filled with walks, exploring, sniffing out all the best spots, and apparently collecting every stick she can find along the way! 😂🌿

She’s also been keeping Simba company and slowly winning Karma over one visit at a time. Watching the three of them together is definitely one of our favourite parts of having Onyx here. ❤️🐾

Two weeks of fun, fresh air, cuddles and being part of the pack — just the way we like it at Dobie Ranch. 🏡🐶🐶🐶

Our very first Dobie Ranch guest update ❤️

Hi everyone, it’s Onyx here! One week at Dobie Ranch and let me tell you… I had a pretty amazing time. I was the very first guest ever, so I guess you could say I helped kick off the Dobie Ranch adventure.

One of my favorite parts of my stay was all the adventures on my daily walks. I even met horses on one of them - I thought they were pretty big and very interesting 😄 Because I had a good recall and listened to Nana, I earned the privilege of joining the pack on unleashed walks too. Some days were extra exciting and included three walks, so there was always something new to sniff and explore. Between all the adventures, playtime, and excitement, every day was packed with fun 😄

Daily walks ✅
Daily treats ✅
Playtime and cuddles ✅
Spa day (mani-pedi included 😄) ✅
New friends ✅

And then there was Simba 😄 I decided pretty quickly that wherever Simba went, I should probably go too. I followed him everywhere because I definitely didn’t want to miss out on anything. We basically became best friends and stuck together all week.

I also got to go on a road trip to watch softball and I was such a good girl. No barking from me - I just took it all in and enjoyed the adventure. Everywhere we went, people kept coming over to say hi and give me cuddles and attention, which I was very happy about.

I even got my own little spa day during my stay - complete with a mani-pedi (apparently humans call it a nail trim 😄).

And then there was Karma ❤️ She’s the wise lady of the pack at 11 years old and usually likes doing her own thing. But even she couldn’t resist me forever. By the end of the week she had warmed up to me, and I think we became pretty good friends.

Oh, and my mom got frequent daily updates with photos and videos of all my adventures and exploits, so she got to keep up with everything I was doing while I was away.

The photo of me sleeping hard on the car ride home says it all 💤 A week full of adventures, friends, treats, walks, cuddles, and fun can really wear a girl out.

At Dobie Ranch, dogs don’t just stay here - they become part of the family.

The best part? I already know this isn’t goodbye ❤️ I’ll be back in December for a six-month stay, and I can’t wait for more adventures and more memories together.

This morning at Dobie Ranch, Onyx had her very first horse encounter 🐴🐾

She was such a good girl — no barking, no drama, just curiosity and manners 😊

She calmly walked over to say hello to the horses… then apparently decided if they were eating grass, she should probably try some too 😂🌱

After a quick taste test, Onyx has officially concluded that she does not understand the hype around grass eating 😅🖤

🚨 Dobie Ranch is officially preparing for our VERY FIRST overnight guest tomorrow! 🐾💖

Simba and Karma have been supervising today’s shopping haul very closely… mainly to confirm the treats and toys passed inspection 😂🐶

✔️ Cooling mat

✔️ Enough balls for full Doberman chaos 😅

Tomorrow we welcome sweet Onyx for a full week of walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and Doberman adventures with the crew at Dobie Ranch. 🖤

I also realized tonight that I may need to learn an entirely new sleeping position with THREE Dobermans in the bed
