A tooth can look fairly normal above the gumline while problems develop underneath it, around the root, or in the surrounding bone.

That’s where dental X-rays come in. They help our veterinary team see what isn’t visible during a regular oral exam, including changes around the roots, bone loss, and other hidden dental disease.

Meet Pope, an adorable Cane Corso puppy who found himself in a bit of a rope-y situation! 😂

Pope came to see our team after swallowing a rope, so we induced vomiting to help get it back up before it could cause any further trouble.

Puppies are curious little explorers, and sometimes their curiosity gets them into trouble! ❤️ We're happy we could help Pope out and get him the care he needed.

Remember, not everything is meant to be a snack — even if your puppy thinks otherwise! 🐾

Bowser has been such a trooper throughout his journey, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate this big milestone with him and his family! Chemo is never an easy road, but Bowser has made it through, and we are so proud of him! 🩺💪

Meet Koda & Charley! 🥰

Koda is 8 (and a half 😉), born in PEI, and spent his first 2 years living the spoiled only-child life! His favourite things are swimming, chasing squirrels around the backyard, and of course… yummy snacks! 🏊‍♂️🐿️🍖

Then came Charley, who is 6 and joined the family from Northern NB. ❤️ Charley is deaf and partially blind, but that doesn’t slow her down! Her favourite hobby is kicking a tennis ball and patiently hoping someone will kick it back to her. 🎾😂
And her absolute favourite snack? Cool Ranch Doritos.
Two very loved pups with two very big personalities! 🐶❤️

Your pet’s teeth and gums are an important part of their overall health, and regular checks can help identify problems that may be difficult to notice at home.

Our veterinary team has the equipment and experience to assess your pet’s oral health and provide the dental care they need.

Some signs that it may be time for a dental check include:
