Bosko had an amazing birthday weekend. It started off with cake at work on Friday with his work wife Tully. Then Saturday we went to my parents house for a play date and more cake. Then we finished off the weekend with a party at my house on Sunday. Thank you Angela Kingston Dick , Matthew Burns , Lily Dunn , and Lori Neily for bringing Rudy, Brooks, Crema, Zahra, and Kayleigh to Boskos party.

Happy birthday to Bosko's brothers ( Rudy, Brooks, Gus, Brew) and sister (Oaklyn).

What an amazing and exhausting weekend. Bosko and I took part in the AlertK9 scent trial at GreenHill Lake Camp. In this super distracting environment Bosko came to work. On Friday he earned 2 Advanced titles (number 6 and 7) and his Speed title. Then Saturday he earned... drumroll please ...
His 3rd excellent title and his MACH (master champion) AND his aerial title earning him his Games Champion title!!!! Wowsers was I proud of my boy.
Sunday he earned his 8th advanced title and got top dog in all three components! Then we decided to give a try at Elite and while we didn't come away with any titles I was so so so proud of how well he worked.
Thank you to Lesley Thomas for hosting such a great trial and for all of the volunteers.
Thank you to the sponsors Inukshuk Professional Dog Food, Smack Pet Food , Global Pet Foods NB

Today Bosko ran his official Agility retirement run with the K9 Kapers. Of course it had to be the best run that he has ever done taking every single obstacle and only knocking one bar down, which was my fault. The music and crowd cheering definitely gave him a boost.
I was then surprised by receiving the Judge's choice award for our run. Bosko seemed to know the award was for him and snatched the blanket out of the judge's hand and paraded around with his prize. He is such a goof ball. I don't think the blanket will stay white for long sadly.

Bosko earned his SDDA distance games title today. He did not care at all that I wasn't in the room with him and worked the scent out all on his own. He went 4/4 on distance and 1/2 on speed (typically speed isn't his strong point). It was my mistake on the second round and he was right 🙈 we then tried our hand at teams with his gma leighra. Sadly we went 0/2 but it was handler error both rounds as the dogs nailed it. I learned to trust bosko more even though he is new to the sport
