🐶 Gua sha is a holistic wellness technique that offers a non-invasive therapeutic approach to improving a dog's overall physical and emotional well-being when performed correctly.

🐶 Gua sha's physical benefits encompass more than muscle relaxation – stimulating circulation and lymphatic flow, supports recovery, reduces inflammation, and enhances general bodily functions.
The mental and emotional effects of gua sha are pronounced, with the gentle, rhythmic nature of the practice calming anxious dogs and elevating their overall mood and well-being.

🐶 A Brief History: Gua sha has been employed for centuries, originating in traditional Chinese medicine as a method for stimulating circulation, lymphatic drainage, releasing muscle and facia tension, and supporting the body's natural healing processes.

🐶 This modality involves utilizing a smooth-edged tool, typically fashioned from jade or stone, to gently scrape the skin in long, flowing strokes that promote the flow of energy.
