A great show weekend at the Mauricie Canine Association. Pearl had finished her Ottawa show with a big scare, my goal was to have all that behind her and for her to become the Pearl again, all happy to be happy in the ring. Friday she found her sister Hazel and Hazel’s family on the edge of the ring... a neck of lightning for her. In limited group 1, no love for her in the ring but she had fun, worked really well and no fear. At the all breed show, she made winner bitch and her sister Hazel, Best of breed. On Sunday at the all breed show, Pearl had a delirious enthusiasm like in her early days, doing some fancy jumps... I prefer to deal with this enthusiasm rather than fear! Thank you to Judges Lucie Paradis and Lee Anne Bateman for recognizing the qualities of our little red devil!
