Roper American Bulldogs SW Ontario, Canada. All around standard type American Bulldogs with multiple generations health tested and certified, proven structure in show ring.

Proven stable temperaments for both sport dog and family companion. www.roperamericanbulldogs.com My focus is staying true to the Standard Type American Bulldog breed, producing a dog that is true to type, as well as with a functional purpose. I strive to produce a dog that can be an excellent working dog, yet still remain as a stable family companion. All of my dogs have been tested on wild boars, and I have travelled to huge distances to get them in the woods on real hunts. I am very aware of their strengths and weaknesses both physically and mentally, and as such I select breedings accordingly, while knowing all pups can't possibly go into working homes, and subsequently must find good active pet homes where they can continue to thrive and give another family the pleasure of owning a bulldog.

Quinn is here for breeding and she went out for a walk with Pancake tonight. Pretty awesome temperament...flat collar, handled by a kid and hanging out with another female without a care in the world!!!

Quinn's owners understood the assignment on getting Quinn fit...girl is popping!

Something I was always taught by one of my mentors...build your program around solid females. I have continued to select very heavily on females with a heavy focus on structure, temperament and health traits. My females also have to show the working traits that I want future generations to possess. Being able to compete in the ring and working field alongside top males is also my goal with my girls!

My current program has 3 half sisters out of our retired Sup Gr CH Roper Aurora of Acadia aka Cadie...arguably one of the stronger producing females these days in the breed. Coming up...pending health testing is young Creature and Pancake. I am building something that I never dreamed possible when I stepped into the breed 17 years ago! Gosh, now I feel old, as it seems like just yesterday!
