People ask us what makes farm camp different from other summer programs.
The honest answer is the animals.
Not because they are cute, though they are. But because animals do not care how your week went, what grade you are in, or whether you are the kind of kid who usually hangs back. They respond to how you show up in the moment. Your energy, your patience, your willingness to be present.
That is a lot to ask of a child. And every summer, we watch them rise to it.
The horses teach patience. The goats teach persistence. The quieter moments between a child and an animal they have come to trust teach something harder to name but easier to see in how they carry themselves by Friday afternoon.
