This is the one that always sneaks up on me, the last class of the year.

October 18th is it. One more afternoon with the goats, the ponies, the chickens, before we close things up for the season.

Ponies 101 — 11:30am to 1:30pm
Little Farmers — 2pm to 3:30pm

Just over a week now until October 6th, and the barn is already getting ready for a full PA Day on the farm.

Kids will spend the day with the animals, out on the trails, and into some real fall farm work, chores, the last of the garden, maybe time in the saddle if the weather holds. A full day away from a screen and into something slower.

8:45 to 3:15. Ages 5 and up.

You know the feeling when you see a PA day on the calendar and your stomach drops a little, because now you need a plan.

Here's ours. A full day outside with the animals, out on the trails, a chance to ride, hands doing something new every single time so even our regulars aren't bored by their fifth visit. No screens. They come home quiet in the good way, the tired kind of quiet.

We mapped out the whole year so you're not scrambling the night before one sneaks up on you:
October 6th
November 20th
April 16th
June 11th
June 30th

Ages 5 and up, 8:45am to 3:15pm

I started these classes because of my own kids, honestly. I wanted somewhere for them to slow down, get their hands dirty, and be around animals instead of a screen. Every week I watch other people's kids do the exact same thing, and it gets me every time. The quiet ones talking a mile a minute by the end. The nervous ones asking to hold the lead rope themselves.

Little Farmers (ages 3 to 10) spends the class collecting eggs, meeting the goats and mini horses, saying hi to our full-size horses, and planting something to take home from the garden. Classes are September 20th, October 4th, and October 18th.

Ponies 101 (ages 5 to 12) is for the kids who are ready to do more, grooming, leading, and an actual ride. We keep these classes small so each child gets lots of hands on time with our ponies. Dates are September 20th and October 4th.

We keep the groups small on purpose, which means they fill up fast. If this has been on your list of things to book, now is the best time of the year!

The mornings are cooler out here now. You can feel it the second you step outside to feed.

Our Fall classes are set, and we'd love to have your kids out on the farm before the season turns any further. There's something about this time of year that just makes the animals — and the kids — a little more grounded.

Our Sep moms & minis social has been PLANNED!

We’re heading back for another special weekday gathering designed to slow things down and create space for connection, fresh air, and meaningful moments with the animals that call the farm home at Peaceful Place Farm

This calm and welcoming farm experience gives little ones the opportunity to engage their senses, explore nature, and learn through hands-on interaction in a peaceful setting. Through time spent with the animals, children can naturally build empathy, curiosity, emotional regulation, and confidence, all while making memories alongside their grownups.

Your visit includes:

• A warm group welcome and short farm orientation
• An interactive walk through the farm with time in the goat and chicken pens
• Meet & greet time with the miniature ponies and horses
• A hands-on “Chicken Life Cycle” activity for parents and minis to enjoy together
• Access to the outdoor picnic area — bring along snacks and drinks to enjoy with friends
