🐾 LARD VADER IS STILL AVAILABLE 🐾
Vader originally had a home lined up in the USA. They placed a deposit, everything seemed perfect, and then unexpectedly, they backed out. Since then, despite lots of interest, we just haven't quite found the right match for our boy.

Now 10 months old, Lard Vader is ready to find his forever person, and we think he's looking for a woman who wants a big baby and loyal companion. ❤️

He's huge, muscular, and walks with confidence, but meeting new people can make him a little nervous. He needs someone patient who will let him warm up at his own pace. But a little baby talk and some treats go a LONG way!!! 😂 We think he's especially partial to women because he absolutely loves being sweet talked, babied, and showered with affection. Once he's warmed up to you, he wants to be your shadow, be cuddled daily, go everywhere with you, and be involved in whatever you're doing.

He LOVES doing his tricks for treats, and his personality is incredibly goofy, mischievous, and playful!!! Expect zoomies, his butt straight up in the air while he plays, lots of sass and head tosses, and a giant puppy who genuinely believes he's a lap dog. 🥰

He's house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, lay down, roll over, and shake a paw. He also absolutely loves water and even enjoyed being on a paddle board recently!

We feel he'd do best as the only dog in the home and without small children, mostly because he's a big, muscular boy who doesn't always realize just how big he is. 😂 He'd be wonderful for someone looking for a strong, affectionate companion, or someone with an acreage who wants a big, muscular, goofy sidekick.

He's been waiting for his person. 💛

We are so excited to officially announce that Tw***ie has found her forever home! 🥰

Tw***ie has a new name, Ishi, a new brother named Ren, and a beautiful new home on an acreage in Golden, B.C. 🏡🐾

She absolutely loved her new family from the moment she met them. She immediately got the zoomies, and then went into full turbo puppy mode with her new brother, Ren. It was pretty clear that she had decided these were her people.

Tw***ie had to leave us with one last adorable memory, on the drive home she decided her food bowl made an excellent hat!!! 🤣🤣🤣

She is still adjusting to her new surroundings, learning her new home, and getting to know her new family and brother. Her new family is absolutely loving her, and that makes us so incredibly happy.

After everything, seeing her so excited and loved makes letting her go a little easier.
We are already missing our silly lovable Tw***ie, but we are so excited for this next chapter of her life as Ishi.

Congratulations to the family and welcome home, Ishi. We can't wait to watch you grow, make memories, and live your best acreage life. 💛

🐾 TW***IE IS AVAILABLE AGAIN 🐾
We were planning to do a post with Tw***ie and her new family but unfortunately, her adoption didn’t work out. But it truly wasn’t because of her.

The new family was in love with her. They brought her home and she got along wonderfully with their younger dog and settled in beautifully with the family. She was showing off her personality, doing her tricks, and even rolling over for them like the goofy, sweet girl we know and love.

The difficult part was their older dog, who was reactive and wasn’t accepting of Tw***ie. After trying to make things work, they ultimately felt it wasn’t safe for Tw***ie to remain in the home. As heartbreaking as it was, they made the incredibly difficult decision to return her because they wanted to put Tw***ie’s safety first. There was a lot of tears in that decision.

They absolutely LOVED her. They wanted so badly for it to work, and they told us that once their older dog is gone, if we still have Tw***ie, they would want her back, even if that ends up being years from now. 🥹💛

That really says so much about how special this girl is.

So, Tw***ie is back with us and officially looking for her forever family again. We know her family is out there. She deserves a home where she can be safe, loved, spoiled, and free to be the silly little goofball she is. 🥰

✨️Pupdate‼️Who would've thought? Lard Vader is starting to love the water!? 🌊🐾

This week he even stayed on a paddle board for the very first time, and he did so well. He loved it!!!

Now 9 months old, Lard Vader has a special soft spot for women and tends to bond with them quickly. He is still searching for his forever family. While we think he'd thrive as an only dog, he gets along great with his sister littermate great, so we believe living with another dog is possible with patience. Any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully to help set everyone up for success.

He's ready to be someone's baby and can't wait to find the family that will love him for the incredible big pup he is. 🥹🥰

✨️Training:
Lard Vader has a great foundation of training and continues to make excellent progress. He is crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. He is also an excellent traveler and settles well in the vehicle without getting car sick.

He already knows several commands including sit, lay down, shake a paw, and roll over, and he is eager to learn more. He is a smart, food motivated boy who enjoys working with his person and responds well to baby talk and praise.

Pupdate: For the first time in 10 years, we've brought our adoption fee back to what it was a decade ago.It's not something we expect to do again. Once Tw***ie and Lard Vader have found their families, this chapter will close, and future litters will reflect the continued growth of our program.

Now is your chance to welcome home a pup that's already had a head start.

Tw***ie and Lard Vader just turned 9 months old. They have spent months learning basic commands, crate training, walking on a leash, travelling in the car, and becoming wonderful companions. The foundation is already there.
All that's left is for their future family to continue building on everything they've learned and to build a bond. 🐾

VADER'S RECENT ADVENTURES:

We recently took all of our dogs camping, rotating them throughout the trip, and we actually discovered that Lard Vader was one of the most pleasant dogs to have with us.

What really stood out was how well mannered he was. While other dogs around the beach were barking, Vader simply minded his own business. Even while on a tie out, he never barked at us for attention. He was content to relax beside us, lay down, and quietly take everything in. He was calm, respectful, and incredibly easy to have around.

We also brought him inside the camper where he continued to impress us with his manners. There were two people staying with us that he'd never met before, and he warmed up much faster than we expected. That's actually when we discovered that he's definitely a ladies' man.

One thing that really stood out is that he seems to feel much more comfortable around women than men. He warms up especially well with a soft voice, baby talk, and, of course, treats.

While camping, he met our cousin for the very first time. Within a short time, she had him happily doing tricks for treats, and he absolutely adored her. We also had several men come over to say hello. He was polite and calm, but much more aloof. They tried calling him over, but he wasn't very interested and preferred to keep his distance.

If you're a woman without other pets or young children looking for a big, loyal cuddle bug, Lard Vader may be your perfect match. He's all muscle on the outside, but a total softie on the inside. He'll love you with his whole heart and be your most devoted companion.

Can a man win Lard Vader over? Of course!
It'll probably just take three times the treats, three times the effort...and don't be surprised if he tries to steal your girlfriend in the process. 🤣🤷‍♀️

If you're looking for some muscle to help look after your girl, Vader has the tough, intimidating look down perfectly. But behind all that muscle is a giant cuddle bug who will be completely devoted to her. He's built like a bodyguard, but underneath all those muscles is the sweetest, cuddliest mama's boy you'll ever meet. Once he picks his person, they're practically inseparable.

🐾 Pupdate: Lard Vader 🖤

Lard Vader is now 8 months old and growing into an incredible young dog.

He is crate trained, house trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, and roll over. He rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash.

At home with the people he loves, Vader is confident, outgoing, and full of personality. In new places or around unfamiliar sounds, he can be a little shy and startle easily. When he feels unsure, his instinct is to run to his people because that is where he feels safest.

He is the perfect mix of goofy, playful, and independent. He loves to cuddle and is completely convinced he is an oversized lap dog.

We believe Vader would do best as the only dog in the home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister, but he is nervous around unfamiliar dogs. He has the potential to do well with other dogs through slow, positive introductions, but he will need a patient owner who is willing to put in the time and commit to his progress.

More than anything, we want Vader to have a stable, loving home where he can build a lifelong bond with his new family. Finding the right match is far more important to us than finding the quickest one.

For those who have loved Vader from the beginning but could not previously afford him, we have reduced his adoption price. He may now be within your budget. If you think you could be the right fit for this sweet boy, we’d love to hear from you.

She is crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs. Tw***ie is very laid back and is happiest just being close to her people. She has a gentle, loving nature that makes her an easy companion to have by your side.

Tw***ie is the definition of a gentle soul. She's incredibly smart, extremely calm, and easygoing, with a heart as big as her appetite. A true foodie, she's always excited for a snack.

She's a certified good girl who gets along with everyone she meets, both people and other dogs. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a quiet, comforting presence that makes you feel at home. Never in a rush, she takes life at her own pace, happy to simply be by your side.

One of the most amazing things about Tw***ie is that we didn't even realize she was deaf until she was about five months old. She was always ahead of her littermates when it came to learning and picking up commands, so there was never any reason to suspect she couldn't hear. She's incredibly intelligent and learns quickly. Her deafness has never held her back. If anything, it has shown us just how adaptable, eager to please, and remarkable she truly is.

She is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little lighter. Gentle, laid back, and always ready for a snack or a cuddle, she has a way of making everyone around her smile.

Looking for Their Forever BFF's. 🥰
Meet Tw***ie and Lard Vader, our two beautiful 8 month old Standard American Bulldog pups.

Both puppies had wonderful homes lined up, but those plans fell through. Life simply took a different direction for their families.

We also want to be honest about why you haven't seen us posting them much. This year our family has experienced an incredible amount of loss. 😢
We lost someone every month for several months in a row, and some months we even lost more than one person. We simply haven't been able to regain our footing through the grief. It has been an incredibly difficult season, and we've struggled to find the energy to be social or make the posts we normally would.

While we've been grieving, these puppies have continued to grow into wonderful young dogs.
Behind the scenes, we've spent countless hours training and investing in them. They know their basic commands, are house trained, travel well, and have grown into wonderful companions. They're smart, affectionate, eager to please, and ready to become part of a loving family.

These pups are normally priced at 3 to 4k, but we've reduced their price because we want to make them available to families who have always loved them but previously couldn't afford them.

Our biggest priority is helping Tw***ie and Lard Vader find the loving forever homes they deserve while they're still young, so they can settle in, bond with their new families, and enjoy a lifetime of love together.
