🐾 What's a dewclaw? Auto has two!

Meet Auto, an 11-week-old Cane Corso mix with a love for toys, stolen slippers, and treats! 🦴

During his visit, we noticed he has bilateral dewclaws — extra toes found higher up on the legs.

🔎 Did you know? Dewclaws are present from birth and can be functional! However, loosely attached dewclaws may catch on objects and become injured. Regular nail trims and a veterinary assessment can help prevent problems. 💙

🐾 Breed Spotlight: American Bully!

Meet Stella! At just 13 weeks old and 8.4 kg, she's already stealing hearts (and treats!) at Ospika. 🥰

Despite their muscular appearance, American Bullies are known for their affectionate, people-loving personalities. Early socialization and positive reinforcement help these intelligent pups grow into confident, well-mannered companions.

Stella certainly brought the charm! 🦴💙

🐾 Dolly came for the vaccines, but stayed for the snuggles.

This sweet 14-week-old Lab mix visited us for her first puppy vaccines and made herself right at home with our veterinary assistant, Alex. 🥰

Early puppy appointments aren’t just about vaccines. They’re also a chance to introduce the clinic as a safe, positive place filled with friendly faces (and plenty of snacks and snuggles).

We think Dolly has the whole “going to the vet” thing figured out already. 💕🐶

Any guesses how big he’ll get?🐶

This handsome 12-week-old German Shepherd/Bouvier mix came in for his new puppy exam and wasted no time making friends with the team.

Hank was bright, social and very food-motivated. Treats and a little GI wet food made his vaccine a pretty minor interruption to an otherwise exciting visit. 😋💉

With two large, intelligent breeds in the mix, we can’t wait to see what Hank looks like when he grows into those paws! 🐾
