As a mixed animal practice, GMVS provides on-farm, mobile veterinary medicine for current clients.

We also offer haul-in service for both large animals and companion pets. Green Mobile Veterinary Services is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care. We provide mobile services to equine, bovine and small ruminant patients. Small animal services are limited to preventive care exams, vaccinations/deworming and 'at home' euthanasia. We provide clients with preventative care products: vaccines, dewormers and nutritional supplements.

October is RVT Month, and we're celebrating our very own April!

Being a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in a mixed-animal practice takes a pretty special set of skills! One minute you're caring for a tiny kitten, and the next you're working with a 1,200-pound horse or helping out with a herd of cattle. It takes an incredible amount of knowledge, versatility, adaptability, and a good sense of humour! 😉

April does it all! Whether she's caring for patients in the clinic or heading out on farm calls as Dr. Green's trusty "wingman", she's always ready to roll up her sleeves and tackle whatever the day throws her way and in mixed practice, you really never know what that might be!

What makes April truly special is how consistently she goes above and beyond for our patients, our clients, and her teammates. Her compassion, dedication, work ethic, and willingness to lend a hand make her an invaluable part of Green Mobile Veterinary Services. She's also a wonderful role model for our entire team, leading by example every single day.

April, we appreciate everything you bring to our practice, from your technical skills and knowledge to your kindness and commitment to doing what's best for the animals in our care.

Our Veterinary Student, Jalen, is nearly at the end of her two-week clinical rotation with us here at Green Mobile Veterinary Services!

We’ve kept her busy seeing a little bit of everything that makes mixed-animal practice so exciting 😉 She’s jumped into farm calls, appointments, cases, and the everyday adventures with Dr Green.

It’s been a pleasure having Jalen with us, and we’re excited to send her off with a little more experience, a few more stories, and hopefully a healthy appreciation for good boots and a well-stocked truck!

And the really good news for the Northwest? Jalen will be settling in to practice in the area in the near future! 🎉

We’re always happy to help support the next generation of veterinarians, and we’re especially excited when that means another veterinarian supporting rural communities.

🍂 Fall is definitely here and it’s a good time to think about your cattle’s vaccines. 🐄

Between getting the last of the work done, bringing the cattle in and preg-checked, getting ready for winter; vaccinations can be easy to forget.

Fall is a good opportunity to get your herd caught up and make a plan for the months ahead.

Whether it’s calves, replacement heifers, cows or bulls, your vaccination program should fit your herd, your management and your risks. It's not too soon to be thinking about SCOUR PREVENTION!

A little time spent on herd health now can save a lot of headaches later.

GMVS reality show idea:
Mic up a crew of day-working cattle folk/cowboys sorting high-headed cattle; then just let it roll.
The soundtrack? Colorful commentary, spontaneous teamwork, and a lot of words we can’t post here.

Honestly, it’d look a lot like any day when Dr Green is out preg checking cows: everyone moving fast, solving or causing problems, and laughing or crying at the absurd.
No script. No filters. Just real people doing real work, with a side of comedy.

This girl came in after a predator attack overnight, carrying some deep wounds. Our team got to work right away: cleaning, clipping, and tending her wounds. Dr. Green sutured her up, and after some much‑needed care, she was able to head home to be with her lambs.

Rural life isn’t always easy, but moments like this show the strength of our animals and the dedication of the people who care for them. We’re grateful she’s on the mend.

🐾 Meet Opie! GMVS has a new team member, and he is absolutely irresistible. Opie, our standard poodle puppy, is officially 11 weeks old today and already settling in like he owns the place.

If you spot a fluffy little guy bouncing around the clinic, that's him! He'll be keeping company with his big sisters Scout and Tam, who have graciously agreed to show him the ropes.
We have a feeling Opie is going to greet everyone that visits — we're already completely smitten. 🐩✨

Summer Breaks — Clinic Closure Notice

We’re taking two short breaks this summer so our team can rest and recharge after a busy spring.
Clinic closed: July 1 – July 7. Reopen: July 8.
Clinic closed: August 3 – August 7. Reopen: Monday, August 10.

Please plan routine appointments, medication refills, and non‑urgent care around these dates. If your pet/animal needs urgent care while we’re closed, call our telephone number and press 3. An RVT will triage your urgent matter and advise where you can seek emergency care.

Thank you for your understanding — we appreciate the chance to refresh so we can continue providing great care for your critters.
