To my valued clients,

Three days ago, I was admitted to the ER and diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis (with a blood sugar level of 25) along with Influenza, leaving me in life-threatening condition. The ER staff were excellent and within minutes of arriving started to work on me in an ER bay.

I've been in the high acuity ward ever since, but I am doing much better and expect to be moved to a regular room soon. Yesterday, the doctor assigned to me told me I could be discharged in about 2 days.

Now and following my discharge, my primary focus will be on resting, recuperating, and adjusting to managing diabetes. Because of this, it will take longer than initially expected to reschedule meet-and-greets, and response times for messages will be slower than usual.
I may also decide to temporarily pause new client intakes and limit how many booking I am accepting for certain services to allow for better adjustment, attending appointments, and more. This is all very new to me and a fluid process so things may change at a moment's notice.

Rest assured, my upcoming pet-sitting booking from October 20th-30th will still be honoured.

To my valued clients,

I will be undergoing a minor foot procedure on November 2nd, so I will be unable to wear closed-toe shoes or do much walking for a few weeks.
As a result, and to allow proper healing, I have closed my books for November and will not be accepting any bookings except pet-sitting for cat-only households.

For the first week after the procedure I cannot accept bookings at all, even for cat only households.
Pet-sitting for cat only households is usually more laid back and requires much less moving around which is why I will still be able to accept those bookings.

I have marked these dates as unavailable in my booking software, so if you are looking to book overnight care for a cat-only household, please reach out to me directly.
