As of 5:00 pm today , I am officially RETIRED!
I want to take this time to thank everyone for supporting me all these years. I very much enjoyed grooming your pets . It was my life journey. Almost 40 years in service. I enjoyed each of our conversations . Me getting to know you n you getting to know me. That was all very special. In all those years it never felt like a job. I loved every minute of it.
When you love what you do, time just passes by. I did the math a few times n couldn't believe how many years I put into it.
But now it's time to enjoy some down time, some me time ,with family n grandsons. YAY!❤️
I wish you all the best with your new groomer. Take care n again thank you.

IT'S OFFICIAL!
I HAVE A RETIREMENT DATE as of JULY 17 2026!

I will be working up to the 16th. So if you have appointments before then I will still be grooming. But the 17th of July will be my first official day of retirement.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone for supporting me all these years n right to my last day. I appreciate all of you n will definitely miss you n your pets. This is a bitter sweet moment for me. Gonna feel weird at first. But I feel it is time for my next chapter in life.

Anyone care to guess what breed of dog this is?

I'm so blessed to have been introduced to this breed. First one I've done or seen in all my years of grooming.
Amazing coat. Amazing texture. Very intelligent breed.
I wish I had taken a picture prebath so you could see how her coat cords naturally. No brushing required
Owners keep her clipped short rather than natural. This breed can be shown natural or clipped short which is rare in the show world

So with this crazy winter weather n continuous shoveling the driveway + walkway to my shop+ patio in front of the gate+ the deck to get into my shop. I made a decision today that I may only clear a walking path to my shop. Which means you may have to park on the road. You are welcome to park in front of my driveway. I can meet you at the road to get your dog n bring it back out to you. This is getting too much for me. Luckily I had help today with this dumping to push my snow banks back n clear my driveway. But I still have a lot of shoveling to do to get to the shop. The banks are getting higher n I have to throw the snow up n over.

Closed today due to weather n poor travel conditions. Hang on to those fluffy coats just a little longer.
