Helping Paws Rescue is a non- profit, no kill, all volunteer run animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then place them in foster homes until we are able to adopt them into loving homes they need and deserve! Helping Paws Rescue relies on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers like you who open their hearts and homes

to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need our help. We hope in our efforts to make a difference that we may also educate the public as to the importance of proper animal care, spaying and neutering, and the need for rescues like ours to help animals in need. While we realize we can't save every animal, we are dedicated to making a difference, however small. We try our best to match the right dog to each potential owner. Please do your homework before adopting any rescue dog. We want to make sure that these dogs never have to worry about a safe place to lay their heads again. These dogs have a special place in our heart and we will make sure to follow-up with our dogs until we are certain that they are adjusting to their new homes and that our adoptive families are comfortable with their new addition, however long it takes. We are SO excited to introduce you to Justin Bieber! 🐾🎤

When we were asked if we could help this handsome boy, how could we possibly say no? The Biebs is quite the charmer, that's for sure! ❤️

Justin is an 8-month-old Mastiff mix who is all legs, paws and puppy! He’s a gangly, clumsy teenager with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. He is super friendly and absolutely loves people.

Like any teenager, Justin is still learning his basic manners and figuring out how those long legs of his are supposed to work! 😂 He’s very new to the rescue, so we’re taking some time to get to know him and help him become the very best version of himself.

We’ll be sharing more about Justin and his progress soon, but we just couldn’t wait any longer to introduce everyone to the Biebs! 🐶❤️

🎉 BIG NEWS FOR HELPING PAWS RESCUE! 🎉

We are so excited to officially announce that Helping Paws Rescue is now a registered charity! ❤️🐾

This has been a big step for our rescue, and while we're still learning the process, getting everything organized, and figuring out exactly how it will all work moving forward, one very exciting part of this change is that we'll now be able to issue official tax receipts for qualifying donations.

For a rescue that relies so heavily on the generosity of our community, this is a pretty huge milestone. Every donation helps us say yes to dogs who need medical care, safety, rehabilitation, foster homes, and ultimately the chance to find the families they deserve.

We're incredibly proud of how far Helping Paws has come, and even more excited about what this next chapter will allow us to do.

There are still a few details to work through, and we'll share more information about donations and tax receipts as we get everything in place.

For now, we just wanted to celebrate this one with all of you. 🥹❤️

🐾 NEW FUR KIDS ON THE BLOCK! 🐾

We have some new faces looking for their forever families! ❤️🐶

Meet the newest members of the Helping Paws crew:

🌸 BERNADETTE
This beautiful 5–6 year old Bernese Mountain Dog is an absolute sweetheart. She’s a little timid and will need a patient, understanding home where she can build her confidence. Bernadette is looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can take things at her own pace. 🥰

💗 MILLIE
Oh, Millie! This 2–3 year old JRT mix is a total social butterfly! She loves everyone, gets along with other dogs, and is just one of those sweet little souls who makes you smile. 🐾

🎩 TEDDY
Teddy is a 1 year old Mini Poodle mix who is still learning all about this thing called “being a dog in a home.” He’ll need a calm, patient family willing to show him the ropes and let him learn at his own pace. 💙

🌷 ELIZA
This gorgeous 3–4 year old Bernedoodle is timid but friendly. She’s looking for someone who will give her the time, patience and encouragement she needs to blossom into the confident girl we know she can be. ❤️

🧸 OLLIE
Ollie is a 4 year old Mini Poodle who is very timid. You can see it in his eyes, though… he desperately wants to trust. He just needs someone willing to show him that people can be kind and that he is finally safe. His past has made trusting difficult, but we’re going to help him find his way. ❤️‍🩹

🖤 SAKURA
And then there’s our gorgeous 4 year old Rottie girl! Sakura LOVES everyone she meets and is always ready to soak up some attention. 😍

She has already made friends here at the kennel with Roger, our Shepherd mix, and the two of them have become quite the little playtime buddies! 🐶❤️🐶

We were told Sakura can be a little picky about her doggie friends, but we think she may have found the secret recipe… a fun-loving male buddy! 😉 With the right match, we think Sakura would absolutely LOVE having a canine companion to romp and play with.

These six may all be different, but they have one very important thing in common…

💕 Meet Gracie… The Girl Who Keeps Getting Overlooked 💕

Okay, friends… we need to talk about Gracie. 🥹🐾

Because honestly… HOW is this girl still waiting for her forever home?!

Gracie is one of those dogs who has a little bit of everything. She’s sweet, loving, playful, energetic, affectionate, she’s got it all! ❤️

She might be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and she’ll warm up faster than you can say “Who wants to go for a walk?” 😂

And once Gracie decides she likes you… congratulations! 🎉

You have been chosen.

She LOVES:
🎾 Playing fetch
🐾 Long walks
🧸 Squeaky toys
🌳 Being outside
❤️ Getting attention from her people
🥰 Just being part of the family

Gracie gets SO excited when it’s time for a walk that sometimes her excitement gets the best of her. She may pull a little, but she’s learning and improving with practice.

And then there’s the other side of Gracie…

Inside the house? Total sweetheart. 🥰

She settles beautifully, relaxes and enjoys hanging out with her people. She’s housetrained, crate trained and already knows several commands including sit, stay, down and give a paw. 🐾

Basically, Gracie is saying:

“I have manners. I have skills. I have a squeaky toy collection. What more do you people want?!”

We haven’t had the opportunity to have her around many other dogs. She’s got a few doggie friends. Slow and proper introductions will be important.

Gracie would do best with a family or a home with more than one person, especially someone who enjoys getting outside and staying active. She wants to be part of the action, whether that means going for an adventure, playing fetch or simply hanging out with her people.

But here’s the part that breaks our hearts…

Gracie has been overlooked for far too long. 💔

While other dogs have come and gone, Gracie has watched them find their families while she waits.

And waits.

And waits.

She deserves her turn.

She deserves someone to walk into her kennel and say, “There you are. I’ve been looking for you.” ❤️

Because Gracie isn’t asking for anything fancy.

She just wants a family to love, a yard to play in, walks to go on, toys to squeak, and someone who will finally choose HER.

We know her person is out there.

So please… don’t let Gracie be the girl everyone keeps scrolling past.

Maybe this time, stop scrolling.
Maybe this time, choose Gracie. 🥹❤️

🐾✨ MEET MILO! ✨🐾

🎬 Tiny body. HUGE personality. One very nervous little heart! ❤️

Milo is a 5-year-old Toy Poodle who is playful, animated, incredibly sweet and absolutely LOVES other dogs! 🐶💕 He’s also good with cats and has a gentle, loving personality once he feels safe.

Now, Milo is a bit of a comedian when it comes to people. 😂

🙈 You turn your back:
Milo: “OMG! I LOVE YOU! LET’S PLAY! 😍”
He’ll bounce around your legs, jump up for attention and sneak in some kisses.

👀 You turn around:
Milo: “OH NO! YOU SAW ME! 😳”
…and suddenly he remembers he’s supposed to be nervous!

Milo hasn’t had much socialization in his life, so people are still a little scary to him. But his fear doesn’t mean he isn’t friendly. He desperately wants to connect. He just needs someone patient enough to let him figure that out at his own pace.

And he’s already making progress! 🥰 Milo has learned to walk on a leash and is discovering that the world isn’t quite as scary as he once thought.

🏡 Milo is also a total ANGEL in his crate!
He sleeps quietly through the night and hasn’t had an accident in the house. ⭐

One important thing for Milo’s future family: he needs a securely fenced yard. He’s learning to walk on leash, but he isn’t comfortable enough yet to do his business while out walking. A fenced yard will give him the freedom and security he needs while he continues building confidence.

Milo doesn’t need someone to “fix” him.

He needs someone who will say,
“Take your time, buddy. I’ll wait.” ❤️

Someone who won’t rush him.
Someone who understands that trust is earned.
Someone who will celebrate the tiny victories along the way.

Because we have a feeling that when Milo finally decides you’re his person… 🥹❤️

You’re going to have one VERY devoted little shadow following you everywhere!

Meet Gypsy, Amelia, and Milo.

❤️ Gypsy is a 3-year-old Havapoo
❤️ Amelia is a 4-year-old Havanese
❤️ Milo is a 5-year-old Toy Poodle

These sweet dogs are now available for adoption and are searching for families who understand that trust takes time. All three are very timid and are still learning that people can be kind, gentle, and safe.

They will thrive in calm, patient homes where they can move at their own pace, build confidence, and discover what it means to be loved. Watching a shy dog blossom is one of life's greatest rewards, and these little ones deserve the chance to experience that transformation.
