From all of us at O.M.K. Animal Shelter and Old MacDonald Pet Boarding, we couldn't be prouder to celebrate Martine's nomination for Business Leader of the Year! 🏆

If you know Martine, you know she is one of the most humble, compassionate and selfless people you will ever meet.

She gives so much of herself to everyone and everything around her, often putting the needs of others, especially the animals, before her own. The long days, the late nights, the difficult decisions, the countless sacrifices and the things nobody ever sees - she does it all because she genuinely cares.

And the beautiful thing about Martine? She never does any of it for recognition.

She would be the first person to shine the spotlight on her team, her volunteers, her supporters and everyone who helps make O.M.K. what it is. She rarely stops to acknowledge just how much of a difference SHE makes.

But today, we want that spotlight to shine on her. ❤️

We know how much this nomination means to Martine, even if she's far too humble to say it herself. To see someone who gives so much of her heart, time and energy finally receive this kind of recognition is incredibly special.

Martine, you are so deserving of this honour. You have built more than a business and a shelter. You have created a place filled with compassion, second chances and people who believe in what you do.

We see how hard you work. We see how much you care. And we see the difference you make every single day.

We hope you take a moment to be as proud of yourself as we are of you.

Congratulations, Martine. Nobody deserves this recognition more. ❤️

With so much love and pride,

The O.M.K. Team 🐾
