🌵𐚁 We are so excited to have Cody Braaten Roping Lessons visit the barn! 𓃓𓍯

📣PITT MEADOWS ROPING CLINIC📣

I am excited to be heading back to the Lower Mainland to teach a roping clinic on November 21 & 22 at Krystal Creek Riding in Pitt Meadows!

Like all of my clinics, this one will start with groundwork that includes learning how to coil and build your loop before learning proper swing fundamentals and how to deliver your rope. From there, we will move to horseback where we will work on roping the dummy pulled behind a quad.

This clinic will be beginner-friendly and a great opportunity for new ropers or green rope horses to be introduced to the sport! The majority of instruction is one-on-one and it will be a fun and inclusive learning environment. There are even prizes and giveaways for attendees!

If you are interested in signing up, or have questions about this clinic, send me a message!

Hello friends! 👋🏼

On August 29th Krystal will be competing in the BC Ranch Cutting Horse Association Finale.

One of the classes she has entered in is a fundraiser to collect donations for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. 🫍

For this event, horse and riders will be dressed in costumes and competing bridleless, so it promises to be very entertaining! We are hoping our friends, family, and the KCR family can come together to support this wonderful cause. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Please send your donations via e-transfer to [email protected] by Friday, August 28th. Kindly include “Canuck Place Donation” in the memo.

I will tally all the donations and present the total to the BCRCHA at the show on Saturday evening.

Thank you for your support!

Spectators are welcome to come support our riders, and watch the amazing sport of Cutting!

Here is a picture of Swagger and I at a previous fundraiser. Stay tuned for photos from this year’s competition! 🏴‍☠️

Best regards,
Krystal Keno
