As we enter a weekend of Thanksgiving, we wanted to express our gratitude to our community members, businesses and clubs who contributed to Rhodes' House Dog Rescue during a time of need.

Wesley has fully recovered and back to his playful self.

Tania Hunt-MacDonald completed the Sugarbush Shenanigans with 28 laps equating 89kms! She fundraised $2300 along with piles of goodies for the dogs.

Shout outs to Quinterideforpaws, County Farm Centre, Dirty Soles Trail Running, , .boq, Soulful Dogs, and your members for their contributions.

And thank you to our friends, family and neighbours for your ongoing support; whether monthly donations, help with dog walking or lawn care, it all counts and we’re truly grateful.

Wesley, Sadie, Brutus, Rhodes and Wilbur wanted to send out a special thank you from Rhodes' House Dog Rescue to Tamalin Vajda & Derek Andrew of Quinterideforpaws and all of the Ride for Paws community that contributes to the rides and events throughout the year. Ride for Paws donated $1,000 to Rhodes house which will go towards vet expenses, food, and enrichment for the dogs.

Rhodes' House Dog Rescue Fundraiser - to help care for our resident dogs: Sadie, Wilbur, Rhodes, Wes, Brutus and future dogs who will need our help.

Sept 19 9am - Sept 20 9am, Tania Hunt-MacDonald a co-founder of Rhodes House is competing in the 24hr Dirty Soles Trail Running Sugarbush Shenanigans. Special thanks to Dirty Soles for donating the registration for Tania to compete with a fundraising bib.

Sugarbush Shenanigans is a timed race where Tania will be competing in the 24hr event where she will run the 3 km loop as many times as she can, in an effort to raise funds for the dogs and future dogs at Rhodes' House Dog Rescue.

Rhodes’ House is a nonprofit based in Prince Edward County, dedicated to giving misunderstood dogs a second chance.

We have a small group of dogs who will remain at our rescue for the remainder of their lives. We stop at no expense to ensure these dogs have access to vet care, quality foods, enrichment activities, training, and are able to live thier best lives.
