For the week of October 19, 2026

This week we are featuring Pounce, a sweet short hair tabby estimated to be about 6 months old. She arrived at the shelter with Petra (short hair black cat) who we think might be Pounce's mom (photo of them together in the comments). They are both very friendly and though they aren't completely bonded we do think they'd be happy in a home together. Both cats are spayed.

This week we are featuring Coraline, a lovely 2 year old short hair calico. She is good with adults and kids, not sure about dogs, but has made it very clear that she is not a fan of other cats. Coraline loves a heating pad or blankie and getting spoiled with wet food or treats. She is spayed. Coraline would love nothing more than to find her forever home.

FOUND: short hair male grey tabby and white. We estimate about a year old and not neutered. He was brought in from Loyalist Parkway near Carrying Place and he insisted on coming in. The person who brought him in was concerned about coyotes so he is now safe with us! He is a very friendly cat. Please call if you recognize him.

Remember the sweet orange cat trapped at Cherry Valley Resort? We had multiple people come to check if it was their cat but there have been no matches and no one else has come forward to claim him. We're now helping to find him a forever home. As you can see in the video he is very sweet but he is becoming selective with other cats. Please contact Tanya @ 613 885-7471 if you're interested in adopting or would like more information.

For the week of October 5, 2026

Shelfie was found on a shelf at the back entrance of the shelter. She is a big girl who was quite matted at the time she was found but enjoys being groomed. Shelfie is a very sweet girl who is people friendly. She is a long hair tabby and is spayed. We estimate she is middle aged.

Sarah has been adopted but the other four sweet kittens are still looking for homes. We would love to see them adopted in pairs - if you've been thinking of getting a kitten (or two!) these ones are waiting for you!

UPDATE: Sarah has been adopted

We have foster babies ready to find their forever home!
Sarah was rescued outside. She is a very sweet, playful girl. She is vocal when wanting some love and cuddles.
Curtis is also very loving and enjoys his play time and snuggles.
Mike is the most social of the 5. He is the first to greet you.
Molly is also a sweet, loving girl
Kya is somewhat shy but once she knows she is getting cuddles and pets, she is a purring machine. Please contact foster, Tanya directly at 613-885-7471 to meet any of these available cuties
