For the week of June 1, 2026

This week we are featuring Oreo, a black and white long hair cat (currently shaved!) who is approximately 2 years old. He was a very patient boy with his grooming and though he is a bit on the shy side, he does accept cuddles. Oreo did live with cats before but we think he would thrive more as an only pet. Oreo is fixed and is ready for his forever home.

For the week of May 25, 2026

This week we are featuring a handsome short hair black cat named Alex. He was found hanging around a local winery but was dehydrated and malnourished. We were happy to give him the care he needed - he has recovered well (packing on some much needed weight!) and he is now also neutered. We estimate Alex is about a year old and he is a very friendly boy.

We are a day late but we hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend! This week we are featuring Black Betty, a short hair black cat who is approximately 3 years old. Black Betty and her daughter Twitch were hard workers at Home Hardware in Belleville but they were found not to be fixed - so we got them spayed and Black Betty is ready to retire from store life. Black Betty is a beautiful petite cat who is very friendly.

Thank you for another successful Fill-A-Truck event! We got a truckload of food, treats, litter and cleaning supplies. Our fundraisers also earned over $1,000 for the shelter! We are so thankful ❤️😺

For the week of May 11, 2026

This week we are featuring Tio who was brought in to us after his owner unfortunately passed away. He is a short hair tabby who is approximately 12 years old and is neutered. As you can see from his photo, he is missing his upper canines which give him a funny smile. Tio is an easygoing big boy who we think would make himself right at home in his new house. He has lived with cats before and would likely be ok with a feline roommate.

Next weekend is our amazing Fill-A-Truck fundraiser! We hope our amazing volunteers see you there!

For the week of May 4, 2026

This week we are featuring a bonded pair of young cats named Roada (left) and Roady-O (right). They originally came to us as kittens who were both found on roadways - Roada had some additional injuries and they were placed together while they were healing and formed a strong bond. They are both approximately a year old and are fixed. Roada is a female short hair tabby and white and Roady-O is a male short hair black and white. They are very affectionate with people as well as each other and they would love to be the center of your attention.
